Hey JimRob!

Piper and Wilson ask all FReepers not to lounge around on the furniture when they could be donating or pinging instead! They claim that furniture-lounging is their job!

All FReepers, please donate or give a good bump?! How can you deny those sad eyes and precious faces?!!

Never could figure out which rocks they were referring to. The base was built on an old chicken ranch and housed an Army Security Agency radio/line intercept unit. ASA merged with Military Intelligence in 1974 and many ASA bases were closed. The Coast Guard used the base after the ASA left. We had medical facilities, PX, Commissary and barracks plus a huge antenna field and highly sophisticated operations building. It was a "fun" site.

TeeHee! Little Tommy Daschle! I guess he needs this chain letter; looks like Little Willy overlooked him (ROFL!):

Subject: A REAL MAN'S Chain Letter

This chain letter was started in hopes of bringing relief to other tired and discouraged men. Unlike most chain letters, this one does not cost anything.

Just send a copy of this letter to five of your friends who are equally tired and discontented.

Then bundle up your wife and/or girlfriend and send her to the man whose name appears at the top of the following list, and add your name to the bottom of the list.

When your turn comes, you will receive 15,625 women. One of them is bound to be better than the one you already have.

At the writing of this letter, a friend of mine had already received 184 women, of whom 4 were worth keeping.

REMEMBER this chain brings luck.
One man's pit bull died, and the next day he received a Playboy swimsuit model.

An unmarried Jewish man living with his widowed mother was able to choose between a Hooters waitress and a Hollywood super model.

You can be lucky too, but DO NOT BREAK THE CHAIN! One man broke the chain, and got his own wife back again.

Let's keep it going, men! Just add your name to the list below!

Bill Clinton 780 3rd Ave New York, NY 10017

William Jefferson Clinton 780 3rd Ave New York, NY 10017

W. J. Clinton 780 3rd Ave New York, NY 10017

William Clinton 780 3rd Ave New York, NY 10017

W. Jefferson Clinton 780 3rd Ave New York, NY 10017

William J. Clinton 780 3rd Ave New York, NY 10017

Slick Willie Clinton 780 3rd Ave New York, NY 10017

Mr. Hillary Clinton 780 3rd Ave New York, NY 10017

HAR! Just for the record -- I'm a girl and I like dudes, but I still have a sense of humor!

C-GIRL with C-FOOD. That is ME-GIRL with ME-FOOD! The dudes are just band dudes; Bob (my fiance) is the keyboard dude leaning on me and trying to hog the camera OR my C-FOOD! Or both! Jamie is in the foreground; he's a trumpet, flute, percussion, and singin' dude. However, I am not a dude, as evidenced by my C-FOOD PIC PROOF of said girlness! COOL girlness! Slammin'!

FR dudes already won chain letter prize; C-PHOTO of C-FOOD GIRL!

I LOVE FREEPER MEN! "FREEPER MEN ARE KEEPER MEN!" THE BEST KIND YOU COULD EVER FIND! "AND THAT'S THE TRUTHHHHHHHHH!!"

It appears Mel Gibson has 'spirited away' the hearts and minds of the FRee Republic 'faithful' for the evening. Resulting in a 'funkle'.

I appreciate his talent. (-;

Sorry to hear about the funkle...

I think one of the most offensive posts I have seen on this forum was one poster attacking another suggesting that the person didn't donate enough to the site to be entitled to voice a contrary opinion. The poster intimated that the size of a donation "bought" influence and entitlement. I am glad that you don't operate that way. No one is indispensible although many would like to believe that they are.

How simply horrible! If a person needs to buy attention for his or her opinions, they (the opinions) must be lousy to begin with. I'm always glad to listen to excellent opinions from people with thin wallets and brains in their heads, rather than ridiculous opinions from people with fat, overcrowded wallets and empty heads.

JimRob doesn't measure a person's value by his or her bank account; he has more sense than that. Although I don't know JimRob, JohnRob, Sheila, and the rest of their family as much as I'd like to, I know enough about them to know that none of them are that shallow! I can't believe that anyone would believe otherwise! Sheesh!

Hey Snow Bunny! Thanks! I'm glad you think my babies are cuties; it means a lot to me! I think they hung the moon, personally, but I'm a little bitty bit prejudiced!!

I'm in a bit of a better mood than I have been; I am finally able to eat like a semi-normal person after that last surgery. At loooooong last! I was soooooo hungry -- and always for things I couldn't eat! (Naturally!!)

AFVetGal -- hope to hear from you soon!!

Setting my little Bassets on the trail of "mo money" on this thread too!

About those contributions my l'il ol' hound dogs are sniffing out -- they'll find 'em! There is absolutely no reason for anyone to be "sniggering" about any perceived lack of donations, or membership numbers, or anything of that nature. FReepers always come through. Always.

And anyone who can't believe the operating costs for FR obviously doesn't have the traffic volume or membership numbers anywhere near the same ballpark as Free Republic! If they don't believe it, they are showing nothing but ignorance. That's hardly anything for them to be laughing about! Just think about it for a sec; one's own ignorance isn't really funny! The teasing crew may learn that eventually.

Thanks so much, Snow Bunny! You and all the terrific people at FR have helped me so very much -- in tons of ways! Only one more surgery left to go, and with any luck, I'll be halfway human again. (Yayyyyyyy!!) I won't know how to act! But I'm more than willing to wing it!! Thank you for being part of my "healing team!"

I truly appreciate it, more than I could possibly express!

God bless you!
