July 9th is National Firearm Purchase Day - 2nd Annual NFPD will be even better than the first!

Last year's National Firearm Purchase Day was a great success.
We had many FReepers post the guns that they had bought,
all in response to the UN's declaration of July 9, 2001
as Gun Burning Day at the UN. While they set to destroy hundreds
of firearms, FReepers were responsible for giving hundreds
of new firearms happy homes.
We'd like to do it again!

Last year July 9 fell on a Monday. Although we are
normally closed Mondays, we opened our doors and had
4 times as many customers as any regular Tuesday. We
are thankful to those who traveled great distances
to buy guns at ARM USA.

Please tell your local gun shop about NFPD this
year. We need to make this event successful once
again, not only because we want to make the
statement that THEY WON'T TAKE OUR GUNS AWAY, but
summer time is typically the slowest time of the
year for the firearm industry. ALL gun dealers need
your support this time of year.

Some great artwork was created by talented individuals.
I'm sorry that I don't know who to give credit to
for this one:

One of my customers then created this:

Is there anyone out there with some spare time who can
come up with another not-so-politically-correct
poster / image for this year? I need something new
to put on the shirts I give away for NFPD this year?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Recently aquired a .454 revolver (Ruger Super Redhawk) this year. It's got a sting but hot loaded .45 Long Colts are fast hard hitting and accurate as all get out.

Working my way up to a good .45-70 rifle soon. Marlin 1895GS seems like the way to go

For the AR-15 fans though: Teppo-Jusu, The Art of the Rifle

Well, I think you need to get one in July, so NO, you have to buy another one!
Can't get enough anyways!

Has anyone told their favorite gun store about NFPD yet?

Beretta has come out with the "U22", a .22 caliber. From the article it sounds like an excellent "fun gun". They say it is accurate and it should be less than $250.

Rescue a piece of history from the government. Buy a rifle from the Civilian Marksmanship Program. www.odcmp.com

The 1903's are going fast. I ordered a Remington 1903A3 "C" stock on the 7th and they're already sold out.

All of the "C" stocked 1903A3's are now sold out. The CMP is going to have to start explaining what they have left rather than what they have.

It reminds me of a friend that collected Civil War weapons during the '50's because no one wanted that old junk.

National Firearm Purchase Day is FAST approaching
and I STILL don't have any cool artwork for shirts. :((

If you haven't told your local gun shop about July 9th,
please do it today. I know from experience that they'll
really appreciate it!

Since I can't afford a new gun at the moment, I think
I'll trick out my SKS!!!

Who's buying what? Do we have a tally of guns being bought
this year?

Have a safe 4th of July everyone!
