Last year's National Firearm Purchase Day was a great success.
We had many FReepers post the guns that they had bought,
all in response to the UN's declaration of July 9, 2001
as Gun Burning Day at the UN. While they set to destroy hundreds
of firearms, FReepers were responsible for giving hundreds
of new firearms happy homes.
We'd like to do it again!
Last year July 9 fell on a Monday. Although we are
normally closed Mondays, we opened our doors and had
4 times as many customers as any regular Tuesday. We
are thankful to those who traveled great distances
to buy guns at ARM USA.
Please tell your local gun shop about NFPD this
year. We need to make this event successful once
again, not only because we want to make the
statement that THEY WON'T TAKE OUR GUNS AWAY, but
summer time is typically the slowest time of the
year for the firearm industry. ALL gun dealers need
your support this time of year.
Some great artwork was created by talented individuals.
I'm sorry that I don't know who to give credit to
for this one:
One of my customers then created this:
Is there anyone out there with some spare time who can
come up with another not-so-politically-correct
poster / image for this year? I need something new
to put on the shirts I give away for NFPD this year?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!

Can't get up much interest in a 'gun burning day'...
If someone ever wants to put on a UN Burning Day, on the other hand...
Well, the wooden furniture, stocks, grips, etc. will burn easily enough, but you need the fantastic conditions found at the center of a large star to burn iron...
My guess is that they pretend to burn them and then distribute them to their allies... You know, groups ranging from drug gangs to communist insurgents worldwide.
Right. Like those Pol Pot wannabe's ever heard of a Bill Of Rights.
Or maybe I'll buy a Ruger .22 pistol for plinking.....
So many guns, so little money....
A couple of grenades would be nice, but they don't seem to be for sale at the local pawn shops.
Go for the H&K USP .40! I have that weapon, and it is sweet! Just shot it yesterday at a friend's farm and had a great time. While I was there, he got out his Chinese SKS carbine. Man, what a blast to shoot! I'm going to get one at the next gun show here at the end of June. Can I count that towards NFPD?
That's what I've heard too.... I handled the 2340 at a gunshow recently, and it just didn't feel as good as the classic Sigs or even the H&K for that matter.
