(CNSNews.com) - The University of Arkansas has announced plans to offer a class on the presidency of Bill Clinton, scandals and all. Beginning in January, the school will offer "The Clinton Presidency," which it says will touch on the former president's achievements and the controversies surrounding his time in office.

"This isn't a whitewash," said University of Arkansas at Little Rock political science professor Margaret Scranton, who will teach the class and develop the curriculum. "We're going to deal with the scandals and how you govern in the midst of it all ... the politics of personal destruction. That's part of the 90s," she added.

Scranton said she hopes to attract speakers such as Clinton lawyer David Kendall, NATO commander Wesley Clark, Bob Dole and Clinton critic Newt Gingrich.

The class will have access to former Clinton staffers and presidential documents through a private Clinton foundation website.

The class will serve as the prototype for the planned Clinton School of Public Service at the Clinton Presidential Library.

The Clinton school, which will be part of the University of Arkansas system, and the library are set to open in fall 2004.

This is surely the intention– liberals know the truth about the clintons will 'out' eventually and are trying to prevent it –(clinton and liberal go hand in hand). By stimulating an interest students may be inclined to dig deeper and there is nothing more ‘cool’ than tripping up your bigoted professor with the facts.

This attempt at propaganda could very easily backfire on them, also many people who suffered under clinton still live in Arkansas.

It depends what you mean by lying. If someone asks, "How are you," and if you have a headache, it's still best in most circumstances to say, "I'm Fine, how are you?"
