Chandra decided to go out jogging , at night, after packing to go home, and got whacked by a mugger, and she was not found until a year later, way off the beaten (jogging) path.
Yeah, right.

This woman's body is rotting above ground in an urban park and several dozen police with dogs can't find it?
This is beginning to remind me of the child prostitute scandal in Brussels said to involve people at the highest levels of the EU. The prosecutors will not bring the charges against a pedophiliac murderer to trial because he has threatened to blow the lid on the whole corrupt mess.
I think the same thing's going on in D.C. The level of moral degeneracy is so high, if it ever saw the light of day, the place would be burned to the ground.

The items recovered with the skull and bones Wednesday included a jogging bra, tennis shoes, University of Southern California sweat shirt and other clothing. Levy, who had been a Bureau of Prisons intern in Washington, was a graduate student at USC. No backpack? No Walkman?

FBI Agent Garrett is heading up the investigation, he's the best cover up artist the FBI has. He was lead investigator on the Vince Foster Murder.

Police investigating Chandra Levy's death said Thursday most evidence points to murder Nah... she probably died of natural causes. She was out jogging, got hung up in some underbrush and simply died of starvation. Everyone was asleep the first night she was in the park and she strained her voice so was not able to cry for help the next day or the following week.
It is perfectly understandable why the police didn't find her even after sending many police to comb the area. She had become so skinny by the time they got there, she looked like a twig.
And then 1 year later while looking for turtles a private citizen discovered her. Just one of those things. A freak event. No foul play whatsoever folks.

Strangulation, which often does not involve fracturing bones or cartilage, would be harder to determine, he said. Utter nonsense. Strangulation often is accompanied by crushed cartilage and sometimes bones in the cervical portion of the throat/neck. Depending on the age of the decomposed remains, the cartilage may or may not still be intact, even if broken. There have been a number of cases where strangulation was determined to be the C.o.D. even if the body was discovered years after death.

Washington's medical examiner, Dr. Jonathan Arden, is trying to determine if the crack in the skull was the cause of her death or contributed to her death, or if it came after the fact, after she was already dead. The skull Arden is examining is not a complete skull.

I wonder if they can check if she was pregnant and who the father was.

The police used dogs in their search last year, and they should have been able to pickup a trail -- even an old one. The dogs at the time weren't even able to detect a meaningful track just outside her apartment. If she had gone jogging, there would have been a trail.
Secondly, the report that I heard this morning was that while Chandra was wearing running clothes she was not wearing her running shoes. She was wearing another type of shoe apparently not designed specifically for running. Her body was in excess of 4 miles from her apartment and it's not likely she would go that far on foot without the proper shoes.
I'm betting that she caught a ride with somebody, possibly Condit himself, and that's who did the deed.
The authorities are also saying that she was bound. I'm betting that she was also drugged. Hopefully, this kind of evidence will narrow the field of suspects.

With the lack of 'soft tissue' can they still determin if she was pregnant or not?

Levy is alive and in the Federal Witness Protection Program. The body found was one of Bubba's bimbos. She was probably going to spill the beans about the twisted relationship she, Bubba and Dick Morris had going on.
Levy is reported to be living on a kibbutz in Israel. Condit is in the process of trying to convince the Hezbollah to attack that kibbutz. However, that particular kibbutz isn't on the schedule to be bombed until 2003.
