Thank-you (I think!) for the ping. I'm at lunch and reading this just wanted to make me toss my cookies.

It still impacts deeply, even after having had first-hand experience with the mind-set of her follower/handlers on Saturday.

Stupid? This woman is not stupid. No, far from it. She plays on the stupidity of the public-at-large as though it were a fine-tuned instrument. I pray Denise Majaette (McKinney's "dim" primary opponent) can outfox McKinney in playing the public when voting-time comes around.

PS....it became all too clear to us on Saturday, as we were subjected to name-calling from her camp, that when a DemoncRat cannot defend itself against truthful allegations, they will deflect blame by shouting the loudest. Expect to hear a LOT of shouting from this camp over the next few weeks.

I e-mailed/sent this with the source to all those people, and a dozen others. If anyone can think of anyone else who needs to see it, list them here, or if you've already forwarded it, thanks.

Once you've sunk to a certain depth of stupidity, degree is hard to differentiate

Yep, it's the theory of the "just noticeable difference".

I thought I would cross-link this article, already on FR.

Feds Searched Offices of Seven McKinney Donors

Of interest is the SECOND paragraph:
Among these donors was Abdurahman Alamoudi, an avowed supporter of the terrorist groups Hamas and Hezbollah. Alamoudi gave McKinney $2,000 on Sept. 11, 2001, according to a Federal Election Commission (FEC) report. Another three of the seven donors’ contributions were also received on that date

Were these 9/11 payments for keeping her mouth shut about the up-coming attacks? How long had she known without giving warning?

This should clear some things up, I think. Who knows how her office handles these?

(see post 85 in this thread: Feds Searched Offices of 7 McKinney Donors)

An FEC spokesman said that campaigns are supposed to report donations on the date they receive them, which may not be the same date the gifts are made. One of McKinney’s September 11 contributors—Sabah Jabri, a retiree from San Diego—told Human Events that he sent his $250 contribution after receiving a fundraising letter from McKinney "some time during the summer."

So McKinney's office received these checks on 9/11? I find that very hard to believe. Congress shut down early in the morning, so that I doubt if there was a mail delivery in McKinney's D.C. office that day. In any case, why would you have an inordinate number of checks received on what was surely at the least a severely abbreviated workday?

And remember, these were out-of-state checks. I think it's unlikely the checks would have gone to a Georgia McKinney office. Even if they did, would the post office there have delivered them before the office shut down that day?

Here are 2 backstory links to the Southwest AIRLINE PILOT who gave McKinney money on Sept. 11th:

Fareed, an airline captain who has lived three years in the Las Vegas area, said he fears non-Muslims are confused about his religion and the political motivation of bin Laden, a Saudi fundamentalist who relocated in Afghanistan and who is closely aligned with the Egyptian Islamic Jihad
from: Las Vegas Muslims Say US Overreacted: From Aug 1998

And from September 2001, no exact date given:

Southwest Airlines Capt. Atif Fareed, a Muslim and 20-year pilot, told nearly 60 onlookers in the UNLV amphitheater that the mainstream media must think more critically. When juxtaposed against his flight experience, he says reports casting the kamikaze pilots as "inexperienced" are laughable. It took skill, he argues, to fly sophisticated planes nearly 500 mph into the World Trade Center towers and the Pentagon.

Campaign donations are NEVER supposed to be received at the Congressional office. That's why there's always a separate office/HQ for the campaigns.

I found it hard to believe, also. I had an appointment at a LOWLY government building on September 11th, in MONTEREY, CALIFORNIA. Not exactly a hot-spot, even on that day. THEY were closed also; everyone was closed from what I heard later.

I am finding most every one of these contributors in google.com. Here's another interesting one, from Oct/Nov 1998:

Washington-report.org

ASHQAR, ABDELHALEEM - ALEXANDRIA, VA 22310 - HOWARD UNIVERSITY/PROFESSOR - 9/11/2001 $250
10th paragraph into the article: Manhattan federal Judge Denise Cote released 39-year-old Abdelhaleem Ashqar Aug. 21 from federal detention where he had been on a hunger strike for six months after refusing to testify in secret grand jury proceedings investigating alleged money-laundering in the United States by the Gaza-based Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas). Ashqar supporters said that although he was not a target of the investigation, he told the grand jury he would rather die than betray “long-held and unshakable religious, political and personal beliefs... and commitments to freedom and democracy in Palestine.” Ashqar had been kept alive by forced feeding since June in the Westchester Medical Center in New York, where his lawyers said his hands had been shackled to his bed to keep him from removing feeding tubes. The lawyers said Judge Cote released him after hearing testimony that further imprisonment would have no effect in compelling Ashqar to testify

So what's your point??? Do you also mean to say that if she took campaign contributions from white people, she supports the families of slave owners?

logic falls flat here.

"Hilliary! was embarrassed into giving back the money Alamoudi donated. Gee, wonder why no similar pressure on McKinney...?"

That is because McKinney wont be running for President of the United States within the next couple of election cycles.

Investigate McKinney and arrest her on suspicion of collaborating with terrorist organizations who are attempting to destroy the United States government and are killing United States citizens.

Bump and keep on bumping this until we get some justice.

We cannot tolerate someone participating in an active sedition movement against this country's government and it's citizens to sit in the Congress of the United States like she owns the place.

Bob Barr!? Zell Miller!? Where are you when we need you! You need to actively call for these preceedings against McKinney. She feels she is above the law, and can do what she wants - including treasonous acts designed to uplift her at the expense of the rest of us as citizens!

If you're googling, you might want to see what you can find out about that Palestinian staffer of McKinney's that quit after the flap over McKinney's letter to the Saudi prince last year (sorry, I forget his name.) I suspect he's central to the relationship between McKinney and these Moslem contributors.

Not only does Cynthia McKinney sit in Congress, she sits in the House International Relations and Armed Services Committees.

McKinney knows that if anyone says anything she can cry wolf racism and most people will back off. And if someone black (yes, me included) says anything, she can just call them "Uncle Tom," and everyone will ignore what he is saying.

Only difference is that I'm not going away...

HAIKAL, OSAMA - HENDERSON, NV 89014 SELF/PHYSICIAN - 9/11/2001 - $500

From Oct 7, 2001: I Lapdanced for a Terrorist
True Muslims don't drink, don't gamble, don't go to strip clubs," said Dr Osama Haikal, president of the Islamic Foundation of Nevada.

From Sept 12, 2001: LV Muslims Relieved Americans not Rushing to Judgment
Following that attack, Osama Haikal said, "it was scary" when some leapt to the erroneous conclusion that Islamic terrorists were behind the bombing.
