A Sacramento private school has expelled a kindergarten student three weeks before the end of the school year, saying her mother's work as a nude dancer clashes with its Christian philosophy.

Christina Silvas, 24, of Rancho Cordova said one reason she took the job as a dancer at Gold Club Centerfolds off Highway 50 was so she could afford the $400 monthly tuition at Capital Christian School.

Well, it's obvious someone flapped their mouth about the mother. Was it a parent or a school employee that visited the strip joint and recognized her? BTW, the stripper mom don't need fame, she's as homely as a stick in the mud...

"Expelling the little girl before the end of school was a poor choice."

Yes, it was. It was callous, insensitive, and will probably guarantee that the little girl develops bad feelings toward the Christian faith.

Of course, had she been nude dancing, it would have been different"

Right again. In CALIFORNIA, the little girl would be rewarded with news stories, movie deals, promotional "little girl stripper" dolls, and a trip around the talk show circuit.

"I'm wondering HOW the school found out?"

...Maybe a married father of one of the students, or a teacher/other member of the administration at the Christian school saw the mother "at work"? JEALOUS WIFE OR GIRLFRIEND turned Mom in?

I understand the Christian school being concerned about the kind of 'information' this woman's daughter might be sharing with her classmates. Nevertheless, as long as there aren't any problems, I think a Christian environment at least during school hours might overcome some of the affect of the mother's lifestyle choices. They should have let her stay.

Scripture also tells us, however, to expel the unrepentent brother or sister from the church. Having said that, I must add that scripture never says anything about expelling the sinner's child.

Can't imagine how anyone can be jealous of the mother. She nothing to write home about, in the looks department.

Oh, I dunno. She seems to have a couple of redeeming characteristics.

Ah, you are right about that other link. There is much more to this story than in this post. Seems the school was right to do what they did.

Somebody went to the website and downloaded pictures of the mom dancing fully nude at the juice bar and showed it to school administrators.

Too bad the girl's dad doesn't appreciate those "redeeming characteristics", otherwise, he'd be there to support the both of the, unless he's deceased...

"Silvas, who is single, said school administrators telephoned her last week and told her that in response to persistent rumors, a parent went to the strip club's Web site, downloaded pictures of Silvas and brought them to school staff."

This is how the school found out.

WHY did the parent go to the website in the first place? Someone at school must of squealed, I'm thinking the daughter did.

Harper Valley P.T.A.
Jeannie C. Riley

(Words and music by Tom T. Hall)

I want to tell you all a story 'bout a Harper Valley widowed wife
Who had a teenage daughter who attended Harper Valley Junior High
Well her daughter came home one afternoon and didn't even stop to play
She said, "Mom, I got a note here from the Harper Valley P.T.A."

The note said, "Mrs. Johnson, you're wearing your dresses way too high
It's reported you've been drinking and a-runnin' 'round with men and going wild
And we don't believe you ought to be bringing up your little girl this way"
It was signed by the secretary, Harper Valley P.T.A.

Well, it happened that the P.T.A. was gonna meet that very afternoon
They were sure surprised when Mrs. Johnson wore her mini-skirt into the room
And as she walked up to the blackboard, I still recall the words she had to say
She said, "I'd like to address this meeting of the Harper Valley P.T.A."

Well, there's Bobby Taylor sittin' there and seven times he's asked me for a date
Mrs. Taylor sure seems to use a lot of ice whenever he's away
And Mr. Baker, can you tell us why your secretary had to leave this town?
And shouldn't widow Jones be told to keep her window shades all pulled completely down?

Well, Mr. Harper couldn't be here 'cause he stayed too long at Kelly's Bar again
And if you smell Shirley Thompson's breath, you'll find she's had a little nip of gin
Then you have the nerve to tell me you think that as a mother I'm not fit
Well, this is just a little Peyton Place and you're all Harper Valley hypocrites

No I wouldn't put you on because it really did, it happened just this way
The day my Mama socked it to the Harper Valley P.T.A.
The day my Mama socked it to the Harper Valley P.T.A.
