The San Francisco "BAY TO BREAKERS" race/walk/party (@ 7.5 miles) will be Sunday, May 19th.
It's a great place to get a message out, since there will be 70,000+ people participating,
and, worldwide media coverage.

Are there any Bay Area FReepers interested in walking/strolling/FRalking/FRolling the route? : )

Here's the website for those who want more info about the race BAYTOBREAKERS.COM

(I think people can also walk it without signing up "officially.")

I've done the B to B the last two years and it's one of the greatest race/walks, but I'm trying to recover from a running injury so perhaps next year?

Is this the race where people dress up like clowns and other odd/strange costumes? If so . . . this has possibilities. How far did you say it was. For victory & freedom!!!

Well my thought is just to walk it, and if FReople are interested, we don't even have to start from the Start. Would you be interested/able to walk part of it Drango? I just thought it might be a place we could carry some American flags, without be too harrassed. ; ) LOL/sigh

Hope you heal well and soon. : )

Hi Saundra. Yep, this is the one. : ) See post #6, too. Wouldn't it be great if we could have a FReeper contingency?

Oh, they say it's "12K" aka 7.46 miles, and begins at 8:00 A.M. (There are more details at the link on the top of the thread.)

Wish I could be there to run the B2B. Susan G. Komen run is coming up in a few weeks in Plano. Nothing better than all the spring races.
