It's August and being SD born and raised, it's an honor for me to bump this thread about John Thune to the top.

I would love a Daschle-less life in America. We have TD fatigue as far south as Florida and John Thune's got the experience and he seems more professional than Johnson. Johnson's nothing special IMO. Johnson isn't effective and we need to take back the Senate, the sooner the better.

House Majority Leader Dick Armey today called upon Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle to vote on 50 bills that have passed the House and are stalled in the Senate.

"The American people want action," said Armey. "They don't want political posturing. The Democrat-led Senate has a responsibility to vote on legislation. In fact, it's their job."
