Okay, folks, let's help South Dakota get rid of at least half of their Senatorial dynamic duo--Democrat Tim Johnson. Go to the John Thune Website and donate a few bucks. I just donated $20. It will be money well spent if we can help take South Dakota out of the wacko-liberal-commie-utopian hands. You can donate on line at this link or you can send a donation by mail. The address is:
John Thune for South Dakota
P.O. Box 516
Sioux Falls, SD 57101
I live in Redmond, WA, so the only benefit this has for me is knowing that it will send a message to Tommy-gun F Daschle that his days in Congress are numbered. The good folks of S.D. have hopefully seen enough of him.
Please ping me if you donate. Thanks.

I've been donating to the Thune Campaign even thought I reside in FL.......would love to see him in the Senate!
I urge Florida Freepers to help THUNE win so the GOP can TAKE BACK THE SENATE!

Haven't seen the ad...I'm in WV helping fellow FReeper Jay Wolfe in his bid to unseat John D. Rockefeller IV. Sounds like it's about par for the course, though.
Thune is the one we are counting on to win above all the others...but we must apply maximum pressure everywhere...IMO there is not a single Senate race in the country that we can't win.
It is also my opinion that the only way we can fail to win back the Senate is if we fail to get the truth about the record and the agenda of the Daschle Democrats out to the voters.
Thanks for all that each of you is doing to make it so.

I would love a Daschle-less life in America. I think you could get a lot of Amen's to that !

What did he obstruct?
And when did he obstruct it?
Free the Daschle Fifty
http://freedom.house.gov/library/economics/dasch50.asp
House Majority Leader Dick Armey today called upon Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle to vote on 50 bills that have passed the House and are stalled in the Senate.
"The American people want action," said Armey. "They don't want political posturing. The Democrat-led Senate has a responsibility to vote on legislation. In fact, it's their job."
If it doesn't fit, you must obstruct it !

Thanks for putting a big smile on my face this morning! :-)

Sent another Ben Franklin to Thune. Daschle doesn't recognize who Ben is. He thinks he had a funny view of America.

SEMI-BREAKING NEWS: Dubya's heading back to South Dakota... A presidential bump for JOHN THUNE? Spread the news! Even some dem relatives I have in SD are fond of Dubya. I think he won them over at least personally (they may still vote dem) when they saw him in Crawford in his cowboy hat and boots.
President Bush is doing what a President does. Meanwhile, MacAuliffe almost qualified for a lamp shade on his head while he was in Vegas. I think it's poetic justice that Free Republic's conference follows the dem get together. Ours will be a real workshop with some jabs at the libs but at least our material is based on the truth. LOL

DUBYA'S HEADING YOUR WAY, SOUTH DAKOTA! I have no further details but you probably already know this. Just putting my two cents in. Wish I could be there. FV

BTTT. Let's DEFEAT ALL THE DASCHLE DEMOCRATS THAT WE POSSIBLY CAN THIS FALL. It's good news that Dubya's heading back to South Dakota from Texas. I suppose he's going to give JOHN THUNE a big boost.
I recommend that we also give John Thune a big boost even though we may not be voters in S.D.
If Tim Johnson the dem loses to JOHN THUNE, there's a chance that TD will lose the leadership position that he has turned into a political position. FV

Thanks, Julie. I pinged you phikapmom's excellent thread on Taking Back Congress and let's bump this to the top. FV

You're welcome re: the ping & what does a candidate wife's anatomy have to do with a Senate race? People as a rule, are uncomfortable with health matters blatantly flashed on the tube. What wife would even allow her husband to drag a personal health matter into an election? I don't see it garnering sympathy because he didn't care if he embarrassed his wife or not. Rule number one is do not embarrass your wife. FV

BTTT. I have a jpeg from 2000 of Dubya's face carved out on Mount Rushmore. I used it on a recount protest sign when Algor's minions were crawling all over Florida.
I can hardly wait to see something on cable from Rushmore.

Wow, if you still have that of Mt. Rushmore, I'd like to see it.
I found this one of Cheney, but no Dubya!:
