Gee, I wouldn't call them Godless!
Arrogant bastards, sure, but Godless seems a might strong.

Furthermore, the Darwin OS is released under an "Open Source" license, which is just another name for Communism.
Every time I hear someone mention that Open Source is akin to communism, I can't help but laugh!

These letters you now ponder were typed on a Mac, specifically the G4 733 mhz mode. Mac's rule!

Amazing how so many can be fooled here as on some "other" message boards regarding this bit. It's all tied in with the spoof page
Landover Baptist Caution, anyone who is a Christian is likely to not like what they find there - I know I wound up pretty offended.

He does have a point... the symbol of the Apple computer is an apple with a bite out of it.
One could stretch a bit (no pun intended) and conjecture that this represents Mans fall from
grace..even celebrates it. The apple bitten is the symbol of mans separation from God.
It is the affirmation of taking in the forbidden fruit (of course Clinton bit but didnt swallow)
the missing chunk swallowed is the joining of satan to man...and sin inculcated. Man who now
possess the knowledge of good and evil...and satan's lie that you will be like God ...
Or Maybe Not.

You should have at least posted the followup:
The Mac Observer Spin: Ruh-oh, Shaggy! Some fundamentalist Christian somewhere would have us believe that Godless commies with a 5% market share are obviously eeeeevil, and Steve Jobs is a cult leader bent on destroying good Christian values in Mac users!! Those idiots! Right? Right?
Er, wrong. While many people over the Web who have linked to this 'article' seem convinced that there's a genuine motive behind this, it looks like a hoax. Despite the convincing use of a real Christian free Web hosting service and genuine Christian popup ads, the giveaways are to be found elsewhere on the site:
* There are some poorly Photoshopped images of rallies,
* No such Baptist church as "Mt. Fellowship" appears to exist,
* The fact that many members have e-mail addresses with nonexistent domain names,
* Also, all the "Dr. Richard Paleys" of the world appear to be in fields other than divinity and 'theobiology'.
Sorry, guys; put away the flamethrowers. It's an amusing parody, though, and well worth a read.

Well somebody besides IBM created my Mac and while I've married it with Linux on a 2nd Hard Drive, I don't think it will evolve much.

Hey, I actually posted this web page, all of it, this morning. I've gotta admit, if it's a spoof, it a really good one. But it got shoved off to the religion forum, and I got busy before I could ping anyone. Anyway, if you want to read it, read it
here.
To: ppaul
What sheer idiocy! These weirdo religionists are far beyond help.
To: ppaul
What the heck?????? The headline caught my eye, will have to read later.
Signed,
Your die-hard Mac freak ;-P

I use a Mac at work, and I think it's 1000% better than a PC.
That said, I think PC's will remain competitive for YEARS to come, because they're generally cheaper than Macs. This is because, of course, they're an inferior product, but most consumers don't care if Macs can perform a set of 20 tasks on Photoshop better than a P.C; most consumers of computers just want something that's "ok" at working, (i.e., won't crash MUCH), and is cheap.
Hence the reason for the P.C.'s survival.
