are they going to charge the New Jersey city that gave that cop a gun who killed 5 people and himself last week??..
So, if someone I hunt with a lot borrows a gun from me one day and kills someone, accidently or not or whatever, will the sherrif be knocking on my door?
If a thief breaks into my house while I'm on vacation and steals my pistol, then shoots someone with it, will I be charged?
If I go hunting and somehow lose a gun, and someone later finds it and kills somebody - is that my fault?
What a load.
In Washington State a few years ago, Gates funded an initiative that could have held someone responsible for the future misuse of a gun that they once owned. Even if you sell a gun to your friend who stores it in his gun safe where it is stolen and then used to commit a crime you could have been charged if the initiative had passed.
