There was more on the flyer about the national stuff, but I don't feel like writing all that crap down.
Don't think that this is going to go unchallenged. Something is in the works here. One of our guys has a bullhorn...with a SIREN..and will be using it when the pencilnecked jerks get too loud.
We're gonna have some fun here. I'll be posting more here when I find out our counter strategy, but I'd like to get a good Michigan Turnout from those that can't make the DC rally. Lansing is about an hour or so from Grand Rapids, Flint, Ann Arbor, Jackson, part of the Detroit Area, and Battle Creek.
So lets get out there, raise some hell, and put the pencil necks back in their place.
The Capitol is about 2-2.5 miles from MSU. There is a bus route there. I'll probably park my assult SUV out at the MCRGO office nearby beforehand and take the CATA bus back to MSU or something.
As UFC's John McCarthy said..."You Ready? You Ready? Let's GET-IT-ON!"

As much as I miss my home state as well as the city I lived in and went to school, thank God I live in Texas. What a crap hole Lansing has become!

What a crap hole Lansing has become! Don't blame me...I'm still technically a Livingston County resident.

There's never a crop duster and a large supply of liquified lard when you need it is there?

Have fun guys. If I didnt live 500 miles away I would join you. Perhaps its a good thing, I might be tempted to create some road kill on Michigan Avenue.

And where is Audie Murphy when you need him??

Hey, at least we're fighting back here.
If I didn't have a fundraiser to go to later that day, I'd stop at Crunchy's before the rally and get a couple pitchers of Killians first.

Good luck, and have fun.
I miss my house in Jackson - my wife figured out that it would be worth 1.2M$, if we could have brought it here.
Hey, you never answered my question - why not prosecute under the 1871 law?

Can you get a prosecutor to charge someone with that law? I don't think even John McBain would go for that, and he's about as good as it gets and actually fought the MSP to get someone's guns back.
To: Dan from Michigan
File in federal court for a "Writ of Mandemus"; essentially, it is a court order for the prosecutor to do his job.
Yes, the writs have been issued in the past - just not for this law. It's worth a try. Good luck - you are really making waves in the old home town.

Thanks for the "heads-up."
I think this is the same group that had a mini-riot at the Romney Building, across the street from the Capitol, a few years ago. I called 9-1-1 to report their criminal behavior.
I have to attend a wedding that weekend, but if I'm around at that time, I would l-o-v-e to protest these punks.

Wish we could revoke their citizenship and deport them all to Afghanistan!
