Patriots Rally For America - First Speakers Confirmed - More to Follow

Please consider this your personal invitation to the rally - we have stood with many of you before and are looking forward to standing with you again.  We are very excited by the responses we have received from those that have not yet attended one of our rallies.  We are absolutely ecstatic about your attendance and your dedication to our country's war on terrorism and support to our serviceman and women in harm's way.   Thank you so much for this.

The D.C.Chapter of Free Republic and Rally For America are pleased to announce The Patriots Rally for America to be held in Washington, D.C. on April 20, 2002 at the Washington Monument.

The rally will be held on the northwest quadrant of the Washington Monument grounds near the intersection of 17th Street, N.W. and Constitution Avenue, N.W.

This rally will be a family-friendly event to show support for America and for the men and women of our Armed Forces.

Confirmed speakers include:

• Niger Innis -  Congress of Racial Equality (CORE)
• Joseph Farah - WorldNetDaily
• Maria Heil - Second Amendment Sisters
• John C. Armor, Esq.
• Jim Parmelee - NorthernVirginiaGOP.com

We expect confirmation from additional invited speakers shortly.

Patriotic and topical music will set the tone of this most extraordinary rally - please plan on attending.  Music starts at 10:00 a.m. and the formal rally at 11:00 - expected end time is around 3:00 p.m.  The rally will be held rain or shine.

We are asking those who attend the rally to bring American flags, large and small, and signs with messages supporting America and our servicemen and women. Please pass the word to your family, friends and co-workers and urge them to attend The Patriots Rally for America on April 20th.

This will be a great opportunity to peacefully counter the anti-war rally and march being held the same day in other areas of D.C. by the usual collection of America-hating communist/leftist/anarchist groups.

The survival of America is at stake in the war on terrorism. We cannot, and will not, allow the America-hating left to take to the streets unanswered, as happened during the Vietnam conflict.  We refuse to let a vocal minority infect our country's morale during this critical time in our nation's history.  This war is different in that the front lines drawn by the enemy are on our streets - where we live and work.

The Patriots Rally for America will provide an opportunity for all those who love our country to stand up publicly for America and to support our troops as they fight the war on terrorism.

I got the sample order of buttons today and they turned out fantastic -- the eagle's wingtips span to the edges of a 3" button. Bumper stickers are ordered and will arrive by next Thursday. Also got the permit finalized -- The Patriots Rally for America is official. FReep On!
