Belated congratulations, Jeff Head!
Thank you for your sacrifice in exercising your freedoms to defend and restore our God-given rights, including those addressed in the Constitution.
I thank God for living examples of a true patriot such as yourself. May such examples become "the rule" rather than "the exception".

Thank you very much...I just went over to a couple of towns where I had friends who were in need, and whose rights were being abjectly violated, and tried to help. The credit goes to those people and so many others who helped.
As soon as I am done with my current series of novels I am going to write a book about the entire Klamath Falls experience.
What a few loyal, God-fearing AMerican farmers and ranchers were able to accomplish there, with the help of activism stirred on by Freerepublic, is a story everyone should hear.
The source material is already on the net based on my numerous eye witness accounts that were posted here on FR and elsewhere. You can see them (if you haven't already) at the following site. It's a story well worth the time.
THE STAND AT KLAMATH FALLS
How Rural western farmers and ranchers took on entrenched
environmentalism and the Federal Government...and won!

Wow...this was a blast from the past!! And we STILL love our Jeff!

AB, are you taking nominations for Freeper of the year for 2003?
To: AuntB
There are Two "VERY SPECIAL" "Science Fiction Writers" who are Jeff Head's "Soulmates;" Robert Heinlein, & Spider Robinson.
If you Doubt my Humble Judgement, read Their Stories---Jeff is "In Their Class!!"

Gosh,I have no idea who does that. I got nominated one year, but haven't got a clue who does it or when. Man, I'm informed, huh?

Sorry I missed your kind words. There are too kind. I just tried to help some friends and hope if I am ever in similar circumstances that there would be those to lend a helping hand.
My favorite words concerning our Republic come from John Adams:
"We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge, or gallantry, would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for the government of any other."- John Adams, Oct. 11, 1798
They are just as true today...particularly todfay when we see the very essences of these principles being trampled in so many places.
To: Doc On The Bay
Wow! Those are unbelievably kind comments regarding my writing. Thank you so much, I am humbled by them.
Volume V of the Series will be out in 3-4 months.

Oops...I didn't see it, but in post 162 I guess I did in fact reply to you back then. Sorry for the double.
To: Jeff Head
That's okay. This thread needed to be bumped anyway. :)

What a beautiful post. Miss all these names. I was in DC with Jeff and met with him on a few other occasions. He was definitely a leader and competent American. Hate to say it, but he almost glowed.

Oh I miss them all too!
Seems I have outlived all my friends and family. It’s a strange feeling never seeing anyone familiar.
All I want to do is go back home, but looks like that’s never going to happen. Housing goes to illegal aliens before old citizens who lost everything in a wildfire set by anarchists.

I hope so too, Lurker. He has a great family. I’m sure they were with him all the way.
