I forgot to mention. A remake of Klamath Falls has begun in Arkansas regarding the White River.
It seems the envior-nazis want to protect the White River Wildlife Refuge from the local farmers.
The Grand Prairie Irrigation Project, a must for farmers, is being protrayed as a "destroy the wildlife" project.
I see FReeper intervention in our future here.
Pay attention, Hog Wild FReepers!

Budge!! It's great to see you here. I miss the ol' blood hounds! Ah, yes, the White River......too bad the enviro's didn't care about Clinton/McDougal building that huge subdivision. The ironies abound.

Ah, but the BLOODHOUNDS are still around.
Yes, isn't it amazing how thee enviro-nazis operate? Can you say "double standard?" =o)

Congrats on the tribute Jeff, and a nice post AuntB.
I'm going to rain on the parade a little though. Chalk it up to contentiousness.
It is an exercise in democracy which can at times become very contentious.
Exactly the problem. Governance is not something to be "exercised" with. Dumbbells are for exercise, not governance.
I hope that Ms. Callahan understands the full implications of her statement.
The Republic survives? The poor sickly thing. Rotting from the inside out from the looks of things.

Hi AuntB! Sorry to be so late to the thread. It was a pleasure to meet you all, here at Free Republic and in person last year.
Wasp, I didn't actually get to meet you in person but I felt as if I had after reading all those great signs you composed for the Bucket Brigade and seeing your inspirational posts here.
Regards to you all, and to all the "Klamath folks",
MA
To: Jeff Head
Congratulations on your successes in helping the Klamath farmers and also the folks at Jarbridge. AuntB's tribute is well-deserved.
Regards,
MA

I wore it when I accepted the award ... on behalf of the many who really made things happen by spreading the word all over this nation about Klamath.
It's a little worse for the wear after my summer of manual ork down in Tejas ... seat ring has risen about 2 inches LOL!
To: Jeff Head
Hey Jeff! I just saw the news, and what a nice tribute. Congratulations, my FRiend!
To: bootless
Thanks, the confrerence (I was only there from about 3 PM on due to driving through the night to get there after work on Friday) was very good. It was an honor (and one that many others are equally or more deserving of IMHO) to accept the award.
BTW ... started Volume III this weekend.
To: AuntB
Congrats, Jeff. Now BACK TO YOUR KEYBOARD, YOU SLUG!! ;-)
To: Billthedrill
I am .. I am ... LOL!
But WRT the series, I will not feel the real pressure until I start hearing from folks that they are finished with Volume II, reviewed it and are pushing for Volume III.
Best FRegards!
