Don't worry, dio, I'll steal this one way or another, even if I have to join Democratic Underwear temporarily for advice!

Heh heh heh! Way Cool, but I'd do it again for nothing. ;-)
Working with you over the years on the March for Liberty, the Fifty Million Round March, and the ongoing 'Dragon's Fury' series has now become even more of an honor that I had already deemed it (and that's difficult to imagine. :)
Seriously....congratulations, Jeff! Your work on the petitions regarding Klamath Falls and the NYC firefighter statue have been sterling examples of two momentous grassroots efforts that have made, and will make, a difference in that they send a clear message to those who believe they can get away with either unconstitutional or un-American activities, in the name of preserving wildlife, or embracing diversity (both of which, in their purist forms, are noble aims....but both of which found themselves perverted into ignobility by the politically correct statists in the case of Klamath Falls and the firefighter statue).
Your efforts have made them sit up and take notice that there are those of us out here (more than three hundred thousand of us, in the case of the WTC Flag Raising and Memorial petition) who are beginning to scream, 'Enough is enough!'
Thank you for continuing to serve in a visible leadership position. Many more will be following, given more time and exposure. You are increasing the number of informed, and committed, every day. I am proud to call you my friend.

You said it. Some really hard choices there but I can't complain if whoever I voted for didn't win. They all deserved to.

I certainly never sought or expected any recognition, certainly not one such as this. And I am absolutely certain that there are much more deserving individuals who have risked and given much more.
The Klamath Falls petition was an outgrowth of my determination to stand with farmers that I knew in Klamath in the face of abject regulatory, political and government tyranny. I am proud to have stood with them immediately after the headgates were taken and the water turned on (which is when I got the call from friends) and then when federal law enforcement officers took them back literally at the point of a gun. I am glad I was there through much of the events of last summer that followed in the wake of that and was able to record it all at:
(Which by the way will be updated in the next two days to reflect events of last Friday when the government re-opened the gates and turned back on the water - although I was away in MOntana and Eastern Idaho and unable to attend, I can unashamedly say that I shed tears of joy and humility when our prayers were answered and that occurred. Now they need to carry through (the farmers) and have the terms of the original reclamation act fulfilled and have the entiore irrigation system privatixed into their hands as it should be.).
I don't know what to say about the WTC Flag Raising Petition. I literally wrote it out of frustration at what was proposed and posted it. I never imagined or envisioned that it would get the exposure and acclaim that it did ... but I am glad it did and that as a result of the hundreds of thousands who signed, who wrote their legislators and who wrote New York City, that it turned around that reprehensable situation.
So, I thank FR for the recognition. Given my time on FR, and given some of the accusations and comments over that time made about the heart felt convictions of myself and others who are doing all we can to help preserve our liberties in the tradition and spirit of the very goals espoused by FR, I hope this puts the other to rest once and for all. Either way, we must all become involved where we can and when the inner voice directs, and continue with the task of restoring our Constitutional Republic.
It is humbling to receive such recognition when you know good and well that many others were equally or more involved. I hereby dedicate this recognition to those individuals, many of whom are listed in the "to:" list on this post.
Again, thank you, it was unexpected and not sought after.
