No, this is awful!
I don't know where anything is anymore!
Where are the sidebars?
I used to go straight to them
to find out
what was going on.
rear: correct - mom's doggie on a month's visit
(always liked most dogs more than most people - today's discusssion reinforces that view)
ps: yw
And, I'm just surly enough to expect EVERYONE here to throw a $20 into the mail for the services and value realized here. $20 bucks??? There's no excuse for not contributing, but we know the numbers.
I don't like individuals who use anothers assets to insinuate bile and resentment and cynicism into the prevailing discourse. You got a problem, that's why we are here. Let's identify it thouroughly ... ok, that's enough. Don't nobody come back until you've thought out a solution and an action plan we all can employ. Otherwise ... don't bother.
I'm outta here ... have a wonderful holiday sir! Peace, love, sacrifice, commitment, enlightenment ... all the good stuff comes together round this time. Regards!
Do you have visitation privileges?
Here's my coonhound mix and Caique:
Okay, whiners and defenders! It's time to re-dub this lugubrious thread The FReeper Pet Parade....
To bed....long drive upstate to my sisters at the crack o' dawn.
Happy Easter, Tom (and all)
When the change was first instituted, my web unit kept shutting off, becuase it's on a timer ( and NO, I have NO control over that ! ) , and it took too long . THAT NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE, AND NO , IT IS NOT BECAUSE OF SOMETHING DYSFUNCTIONAL IN THE WEB UNIT !
( I still say you lose people in the long run by not allowing them to see what they'd be buying first. Charge for registration & posting privledges, but not access. =])
I agree. This really sucks. I'm still trying to find "latest posts". What was wrong with the lay-out before? Are the people who run FR now civil service empolyees who have to "fix" everything that ain't broken, just to be doing something?
You shoulda been practicing with the Beta version all last week :-)
Personally, I think the changes are great.
Well done JohnRob! *S*
and it was spot on !
(way back on #11)
Guess this means we'll have to find another topic on which to disagree, then. =]
hell, you never even got to hear my sheep imitation !
see, chicks are just toooooo impatient, generally ...
I am going to move my location to Eastern Lower Slovabonia.
Just got home a little while ago and have been trying to catch up on reading all the complaints about our new face lift. Well, this particular email caught my eye and thought I'd post it to see if we can lighten up the atmosphere just a bit (I got a chuckle out of it anyway).Let's follow the lead of FR's founder, and MAKE THIS FORMAT CHANGE WORK!
Subject: FREE Non Surgical Face Lift in a Bottle!-- snip --
-- snip --"By the way, we will be working over the weekend and the next few days, to try to make the new FR face lift a little less shocking. It will all be back to (almost) normal soon.
Hang in there.
Have received thousands of comments, emails and FRmail complaints and compliments today (running about 10 to 1 in the complaint department).
Will not be able to answer all (or even most), but we will do what we can to make things better. Thanks,
Jim
We can do this.
Sheep imitations ? Is THAT the best you have to offer ? LOL
That sounds very much like the functionality that is built into the Mozilla browser that I use. It is has been a useful feature at times. Unfortunately, I've found that I want some sites to be cookie-enabled at times and cookie-disabled at other times. Since my list of cookie-disabled sites has become very, very long, it became too much trouble to scroll the long list and re-enable cookies for a particular site. It's easier to simply leave cookies disabled all the time and turn them back on as needed.
I have the source code for Mozilla, and I've been wanting to add a toggle button for cookies to the browser's toolbar. I have yet to find a day with enough free hours to implement such a luxury though. I believe it would be the least aggravating method yet for dealing with cookies, and I'm somewhat amazed that browsers don't come with such a convenient button.
