President Bush told a United Nations conference on global development in Monterrey, Mexico, last week that Americans have an obligation to "share our wealth" with poor nations. He proposed a 50 percent increase in foreign aid. He thinks more aid should be in the form of grants, not loans. He would also forgive much of the current Third World debt. The president said new aid would only go to nations that reform their governments, economies and human-rights practices.

bush is a globalist.

He continues to put the best interests of American Citizens, behind the interests of his globalist legacy.

Thanks for selling US out!

The president apparently believes his ambitious plan will dampen the hatred some nations feel toward the United States, if not buy their love. He is mistaken.
Guys, tThis seems to be the objective, and if it is, " BUSH is mistaken. BIG TIME!!!" Even recent history shows US that when we "help" ANYBODY, that they expect MORE and MORE yearly. Much as do children. But, MOST of the beneficiaries of our largess are those who would RULE over US. Globalism sucks BIG TIME!! Peace and love, George.

At the time of his approach to Red China, Richard Nixon (a REPUBLICAN for those of you from Rio Linda) was approached by an internationalist businessman who was literally salivating over the prospect of access to the BILLIONS of potential Chinese slave laborers and “customers” (although this rocket scientist had apparently not yet concluded that the Chinese people would be hard pressed to buy his stuff without MONEY!!!!).

This businessman was concerned that Nixon had been SAYING that he was cooling to the idea of an opening to Red China to quell the uprising within the then very much more America-First rank and file Republican Party.

As reported years later, Nixon told the businessman
“DON’T LISTEN TO WHAT WE SAY: WATCH WHAT WE DO!

It is my strong memory of THAT event which prompts me to post this graphic!

AS YOU READ THIS, IT APPEARS THAT BUSH, DASCHLE AND OTHERS ARE WELL DOWN THE ROAD TO USING THIS PAGE FROM THE NIXON PLAYBOOK!

Look, America – the IDEA not the PLACE – can only continue to exist if we heed the advice of the founding fathers (paraphrased here in the current vernacular for residents of Rio Linda), to wit:
“The Founding Fathers have determined that failure to WATCH politicians – ALL POLITICIANS (even those you may worship!) – is dangerous to the security of this nation and to the freedoms we paid such a heavy price to TRY to leave you and your children.” “Yes, we did produce a near-perfect republic. But will they keep it? Or will they, in the enjoyment of plenty, lose the memory of freedom? Material abundance without character is the path to destruction.”
That from the radical right-wing, tinfoil hat wearing wacko, Thomas Jefferson.

C'mon, Bush is smarter than you or me or the rest of us. He knows what he is doing and if you would just get on the cattlecar bandwagon, you'd see how great he is.

That last line cracked me up. After everything else in the piece, Thomas should have closed with, " GW Bush is out of his mind or intent on destroying our country."

Cal Thomas's heart is in the right place but he should study the history of failing to flame the butts off of politicians who pull crap like this, so that he can avoid the mistakes of the past. ahaha

ugh! I almost wish I hadn't read this! What a nightmare! Our country is swirling downward fast. If thousands of feeoples signed up for the Constitution Party or the Reform Party, would that send a big message to the administration or doesn't that matter with voter fraud and all.
