13 ft, biggest Octopus ever? Sorry, not buying it. There were reports from the last century (or erlier?) of much larger. I thought I remember seeing an old black and white photo of a dead monster octupus washed up on shore. I am not an octupusarian, so I ask those who have studied these beasts to address the accuracy of this article.
I do know this much, contrary to some posts in this thread, octupus is NOT food. It's cut bait. It's what food (real fish) EATS.

Helen doesn't have as much class as that octopus! Ah, sorry about that. Easy mistake to make though - neither of them appear to have a spine.
It's about a two and a half hour trip on a Convair to get there - I'm talking REMOTE.
That's okay - some days, finding a place like that and telling the rest of the world to piss off sounds pretty good. At least the seafood is good, I bet ;)

I'm a 5'10" male. Right around the 2000 election resolution in December, I weighed 228 pounds. I went on a diet then, and got down to 189. Then my marriage fell apart, and I put most of that back on. I'm now 167 pounds, so technically I've lost 61 pounds from my high weight. And would like to lose another few before my vacation to Australia in two weeks. I'm 30 years old, and have never left North America before. Maybe I'll spot a giant octopus as the plane takes off from my connection in Auckland, NZ! (Sorry, that was my pathetic attempt to make this reply on-topic).
