Hey where's Cinnamon Girl and TLB and the others? Probably on the Oscar thread. Those guys are brutal, but funny over there.
To: Maedhros
I wonder if people like her who play the race card are a little worried about the fact that there are now more Hispanics than blacks in the U.S. Some people who aren't going to buy a big guilt trip: "Hey, don't look at me, amigo. I just got here myself."
To: americalost
I made a post on the Oscar thread inviting anyone who wished to drop in.
To: americalost
he is really on this Al Sharpton thing..I wasnt even paying attention..what did they do in the beginning that is causing all the ruckus with Al Sharpton..why was he there..has he ever been in a movie?
To: bleudevil
Hey you're right and will numerically take them over as a minority group. Heck even anglo will be outnumbered by hispanic numbers eventually, so they say.
To: RummyChick
Not that I know of. The Reverend Bacon character in the movie version of "Bonfire of the Vanities" was roughly based on him. That's the closest link I know of.
To: bleudevil
While Drudge is on the half-hour break, thought I'd post this from the Oscar thread in the main forum. Guaranteed to give you nightmares tonight!!
To: RummyChick
I wish I could answer that. I didn't see it myself. I tuned in briefly to the Tom Cruise lecture, which must have been right before the montage featuring the leftists. It was just a feel-good montage of togetherness and unity, is my guess. (their brand of togetherness and unity, of course)

Michael Moore DiseaseLOL!

Does anyone else think Drudge's voice sounds strange this evening? -- almost didn't recognize it.
To: CedarDave
Yeah, he does sound a little different.

Drudge: "When you see "Sorority Boys," you're giving them the power. When you see this "Blade II," you're giving them the power." Get thee behind me, crappy movies!
To: Maedhros
It does sound a little different to me too. Maybe he's broadcasting with different equipment tonight.
Drudge now blasting Bush over CFR. "Am I not saying the truth? Haven't they let us down?" And blasting the cameras.
To: RummyChick
all the ruckus with Al Sharpton..why was he there..has he ever been in a movie? He was the mayor of Munchkin Land in the Wizard of Oz.
To: CedarDave
oh........my...... gawd.......
To: bleudevil
Drudge is all over the map, but keeps going back to Al Sharpton, Willie Brown, etc.
Gets on Bush's case about vowing to sign CFR, especially because it prohibits free speech. Good for Matt!!
To: bleudevil
Well he's in LA, presumably at KFI studios.. so it might just sound different. I also noticed the call screening had a problem a minute ago, he had to ask the callers where they were calling from. Maybe there are some glitches tonight?
To: americalost
I'm pretty sure Drudge doesn't screen calls.

I'm with you. Very good for Matt. Bush should veto that nonsense and he shouldn't have to spend 10 seconds deciding to veto that nonsense. Which worries me greatly, 'cause not only is it something he's apparently wrestling with, he is probably going to sign the thing.
To: Maedhros
They usually always screen calls for name and location.
