As a South Dakota voter, currently stationed with the Air Force in Colorado, I have become extremely angry and frustrated with the extreme partisanship and obstruction in the Senate ... especially that committed by my own Senator, Tom Daschle. Daschle, Leahy, and their cohorts have discarded the U.S. Constitution in their efforts to prevent the Bush administration to deal with both foreign and domestic issues in our time of crisis. They have distorted the advice and consent role the Constitution grants the Senate and they have instituted un-Constitutional standards for votes on legislation. Most reprehensible, they have added political philosophy as a criterion for confirmation of judicial nominees. Since we know the liberal media will never call liberals like Daschle on their un-Constitutional efforts and tactics, the burden is on individuals to spread the word and wake people to the antics of these people who claim to represent us. Only a widespread awakening promises to rid Congress of such gutter politics. I hope to build a network of people in South Dakota to help spread the word of Daschle's (and others') tactics in the Senate. If you are a South Dakota voter or know people who are, please contact me to help build this network. Sincerely, Ted Miller Colorado Springs, CO miller8310@msn.com
His current threat to subpoena Homeland Defense Secretary Tom Ridge is the latest violation of separation of powers.
His abuse of the GAO to unlawfully meddle in executive matters is only possible because its head is a Clinton appointee and an Arthur Anderson alum.
His lies of "secrecy" and "shadow government" were exploded by Tony Snow.
Daschle has formed the core of the American fifth column with his obstruction of the war against terrorism.
The little dictator blocked the tax cut which would have put millions of Americans back to work in a stimulated economy.
The most partisan practitioner of the politics of personal destruction has thrown up an armed checkpoint blocking judicial appointments.
The President's defense budget should take priority, but Daschle will devote all his twisted energies to raping the First Amendment this week.
In the absence of Vieques Island, his megalomaniacal ego would make a fine target for live-fire exercises.

However it take a ton of money to unseat an uncumbent. Dasshole(amoung others) is the best arguement for term limits.
Am I wrong, how do we get a Dasshole from a state like yours?
Hillary from NY, I understand. Dasshole from SD?
Thank you so much for the heads up, Tonk! Hugs!!!
