I try not to post often as it is usually for a rant, and then I get blasted by the pros on this site. once in awhile , though, something strikes me and I feel the need to let it out. I contribute to the site often and usually at least $200.00 or better, so I guess I will enjoy the priveleges this site allows. I am enamored of this site and its huge potential to get the true story and have respect and envy for the professional posters and the huge knowledge they possess.
With that said, After surfing by Greta Van cesspool last night, I wanted to scream. Her use of typical lefty tactics is repulsive and predictable. When Ollie North try to draw Clinton into the discussion, Greta cut him off and wouldn't let him finish his sentence. Her remark about the racial problems in Cincinnati and how there will continue to be problems as long as black people continue to die in police custody was irresponsible at least. She used the lefty tactic of stating something and then switching subject before anyone can dispute her statement. Same tactic used by Colmes, Begala, Press, and all other lefty loonies.
Greta is symptomatic of all television media. Instead of reporting, they try to influence. Getting the story is not their concern, it is getting the story spun to justify their warped sense of politics. The framers would turn in their grave watchng the TV and Print media manipulate their freedom of press.
FOX has lost all credibilty with their morning show lackeys, the hiring of Whorealdo and Greta and giving forums to Al Sharpton and Paul Begala. They are no different and deserve our disdain. Thank you for letting me vent.
Letter writing campaigns are good, too.

I agree. FOX was smart to get her. The contrast she provides will be apparent to her followers. They will have an opportunity to compare Greta to other rational FOX shows. If FOX were 100% conservative, no liberal would ever be exposed to conservative approaches and anaylsis. They would be preaching to the choir and would deserve to be labelled biased.
As far as the morning lackeys goes, I LOVE "Fox and Friends" in the morning.
That's the best show on Fox.
Maybe you should contribute your $200 to Pat Robertson or Pat Buchanan and they can have a broadcasting schedule where you argee with everyone on it.

To play Devils Advocate. That occured at the very end of that segment. She probably had a producer yelling in her ear that the segment had gone too long and they were behind schedule. Ollie got his statement in anyway, so whats the beef?

So what is untrue about this statement? Are blacks dying in custody. I dont know. I know that a lot of them have died in police shootings, most of them while firing weapons at the police. Given the current state of police community relations, you would think the police would want to do everything they could to make sure blacks dont die in police custody. If you are insulted by that, then maybe you should do something to see that blacks dont die in custody.

Maybe you should understand that there are news shows like the one Sheppard Smith puts on at 7 eastern and shows like Greta's or Hannity & Colmes. Sheppard Smith gives the news. The rest of the lineup is talk and commentary. You do know what commentary is?
While Greta is far from my favorite host, I really dont know what is getting you so steamed. I think you must be constantly LOOKING for bias. Again if you dont like the show, dont watch it.
I saw the interview and I agree. She was WAY over the top. She made the statement to the affect that police offers are out of control and practically deliberately killing unarmed blacks.
She offered as proof the Office Roch shooting of the unarmed black man last summer.
She made the liberal claim that he was "unarmed" and his "fellony" warrents were for traffic violations.
Standard liberal "after the fact" denunciation that cops shouldn't react to a threat. I have to wonder how a liberal would react if they were confronted by a person and faced the threat like a criminal in a dark alley.
She attacked from a clearly liberal perspective charging that blacks had a right to be angry because "innocent" and "non-violent" blacks were being killed by the police.
Put her in a slit-second, life-and-death situtation and see how she reacts.
