I had hoped for the "bobsled" gold for team USA but hey, 2 medals are better than one.

I am not an Ohno fan, but I disagree with the call. From the overhead view Ohno CLEARLY had the inside track on the inner edge of the circle and the other skater came in on him from the outside. I think he got cut off and the other guy should have been penalized, not Ohno. And this, from me - not an Ohno fan by any means. But IMO a bad call. Ohno had the line and was holding it.

No, I will be there so long as the fly the Dixie flag.

They did a replay but I am not sure they showed the whole race..it showed him hitting a fence or something with his fist as he was going to go through a door inside..he wasn't happy :-)
Swiss MISS! US guaranteed two bobsled medals.

i have a battle flag on the front bumper of my truck, and i'm in salt lake... that good enough? (g)
Germans take 4 man men's bobsled gold, Texas gets the silver, and Florida the bronze.

Hey that guy behind the Prince is wearing Hillary's hips. are you suggesting there's more than one crusty pants ?
yikes, call the post!
To: alisasny
Yeah, NBC showed both heats, and replays of the cutoff in the first race, and of the wreck in the second. If I was Korea, I'd be ticked that they didn't call the cutoff in this race but did a few nights ago. That'll teach 'em to cheat our boxers(Roy Jones bump!)

I guess the moderator decided that the Olympic events are not breaking news since many are tape delayed ;-)
