Listening now using Windows Media Player 8 @ 10 kbps over dial-up and it sounds just fine.

Let's do a checklist. 1) You're using windoze media player on windows 98se or later. 2) You're running windoze media player version 6.4x or later. 3) You tried both links and neither one would work. ???

I'm using MP 8 w/ the default XP skin. I guess depending on which skin you choose the connect rate might appear in different places. It's right above the start/stop controls near the bottom.

Thank you for your very kind comments. IJ, Agitator, Diotima and Bob J are so great to work with! This FRN Radio thing is a hoot! It is so incredible to be sitting there on Radio Row at CPAC and literally having the other radio hosts from shows around the country looking down at IJ and I as we just brought in interview after interview after interview.

This is serious stuff. As Senator Pardek said, "This internet stuff might just catch on". Tomorrow's interviews are also incredible. We have already lined up Grover Norquist and Frank Gaffney.

The interviewees are as impressed by FreeRepublic.com as we are with them. Just like Free Republic has developed outside the mainstream media talent the conservative organizations here at CPAC have their own set of talent. Believe me, 90% of the staffer's that I have met from The Leadership Institute to Eagle Forum (I have a great interview with the Executive Director of EAgle Forum that we should broadcast tomorrow!), to Concerned Women for America have this pool of conservative talent that are all physched about FreeRepublic.com and FRN. That 90% is doing research on FR and is very familiar with who we are.
