A call to all Lady Freepers and Hooter Girls in Florida
Vanity ^

Posted on 01/25/2002 6:53:24 AM PST by Fearless Flyers

Dear Hooter Girls and all concerned,

This weekend January 25, & 26th 2002 there is an opportunity for the Hooter Girls and those that love them. For years the lovely ladies of Hooters have been harassed and attacked by N. O. W. . We all remember the Hooters Men campaign a couple years back, when N.O.W. attempted to homogenize the sexes with-in Hooters around the Nation.

Here is an opportunity for Hooters to turn the tables on the Neanderthal Organization of Women.

It would be great to see the Hooters Girls of South Florida join the counter protest of N.O.W. on the streets around the Inverrary Hotel Resort. Imagine the appeal of the fine ladies from Hooters wearing kneepads with NOW painted on the front of them and displaying signs that read “N.O.W. Convention Today Kneepads Available at The Door”. Maybe big pictures of Janet Reno saying, “How Can this Represent Me”

Thanks for considering this option.

Sincerely Matthew B. Rogers

It is time to firm up any plans for Freeping this event.

I am making an appeal to all Lady Freepers. If you plan on attending Freep mail me with your suggestions and I will paint a sign for you.

Jorge Torres aka MiamiFreePress has said he could be there on Sunday with his AntiAntiwar.com crew to provide video coverage.

Janet Reno’s appearance is late Saturday afternoon. We should try for a strong showing during her presence.

This is a warm up for the fall elections, all sorts of socialist groups will be invading our State in the near future. We need to start our counter movement now.

Um, you don't have to be a hairy-armpitted feminist to not like the concept of Hooters. I find the restaurants distasteful in the extreme. I'm sure that there are plenty of conservative women out there like me that don't like the concept.

I find Hooters to be disheartening and depressing. However, NOW is a poor alternative. If the Hooters girls really want to make a statement, they should all dress up as Nicole Brown Simpson (murdered ex-wife of OJ), complete with black eyes and bloody wounds, and signs on their ample chests saying "Where was NOW when OJ was beating Nicole?"

I suggest this having read Tammy Bruce (former president of the LA chapter of NOW) and her account of how NOW silenced her when she attempted to make the OJ case about wife-beating instead of letting it be hijacked by the race-baiters.
