Reno to Speak at N O W Conference

The Florida National Organization for Women will hold it’s statewide conference on Saturday and Sunday, January 26th and 27th. At the Inverrary Hotel Resort at 3501 Inverrary Blvd., Ft Lauderdale, FL.

Gubernatorial candidates Lois Frankel and Janet Reno will make featured appearances.

The workshops will be “Finding and Supporting Good Women Candidates”, “Pitfalls of Running a Successful Campaign”, “E-Marketing and Fundraising”, “Young Feminists” as well as “Sexual Harassment” and “Abortion Rights” Call (954) 456-6080

I once saw Patricia Ireland speak to a receptive audience in Boca Raton (The City of Evil South). As a result, she moved elsewhere and I have NO idea where Femme Ireland lives now, although Butch Reno is located down the road from OJ Simpson in Kendall.

Take the turnpike and exit at Sunrise Blvd - go west to NW 56 Avenue, make a right. Head down 56th, crossing Oakland Park Blvd and 56th becomes Inverrary Boulevard. Head down about a mile and the hotel and resort will be on the left hand side.
