FReeper names explained

Some FReepers have nicks that are obvious in their origin, others don't. I've seen several that probably have interesting stories behind them.
I thought it would be cool to see where FReepers get their handles from. If you don't like this topic, DON'T POST HERE! No one forces you to read this. I'm sure other people may be interested. If I'm the only one, let me know so I can crawl away in shame.

Mine is an interesting story. My name is Paul Klenk. If you change the initial letters to lower case and put BOTH names together into ONE name (one following the other, first the first name, then the last name, in that exact order) you get my screen name, paulklenk.
To: paulklenk; larryjohnson
I think you and my bud LJ used the same strategy. hehehe

I lurked for months before finally posting and I chose Pooh Fan because I like A.A. Milne's simple way of getting to the crux of the matter. Simple directness remains a work in progress for me...I tend to get annoyed and blast away..

OK, I'll let you know when I'm finished designing the site for a Christian band called Blood Brothers, and when I've updated PatriotZone.

"Fresh Wind" is extracted from a quotation by philosopher Krishnamurti: "It's a fresh wind that blows against the empire". It was also the source for the name of the first Jefferson Starship album "Blows Against the Empire". Today, I really couldn't care less about Krishnamurti's teaching, but it's a cool line, and the remote connection to the revolutionary spirit of the 60's speaks to the evolution of my own political sensibilities.

Warrior Nurse is because I am a former Marine Officer and Enlisted Man and all Marines are Warrior's because of the ethos that we follow. I am currently a nurse in the Navy serving on board an Aircraft Carrier. It shows the duality whereas I could kill an Iraqi then bring him back to life.
Licensed to Kill ability to heal.

That is both fascinating AND clever. I will mysteriously leave the explanation of my own SN to your puzzlement.

My Name is related to my initials. And since I was a kid when the movies 'Jaws' came out, the 's' was added to give me a creul nickname.

I sailed for two years on a beach discharge lighter. My shipmates tagged me with Kilo Whiskey because my first and middle initials are KW. When I needed a username, Kerry was already taken and Kerry6789 held no appeal. The system had a limited number of letters, so I dropped the i to make it under the limit. That's all there is to it.
