Anybody who gets over 100 million in campaign contributions before a election is beholding to a lot of people. That's a lot of bribes. Bush is owned and paid for by special interests.

What a baseless accusation. How about some factual support, i.e. some specific examples of all this influence.

Why don't you just revert back to Be Lieberman - it takes a whole lot less effort.

I thought DU posters swore alot more than you. You really clean up act when you come over here. Keep pushing that communist agenda, there are plenty of suckers out there to follow you into any pit you sleep in.

Bush's average contribution was only a few hundred dollars, far less than Gore's.
As a special interest myself, I'm still waiting for my machine gun licence and .50 caliber machine gun, Bush promised me.

Yeah I'm part of the 60 year old Grandmothers Special Intrest Group. I gave campaign buck to Bush. I'm making out like a bandit now. (You poor simple fool.)

My $20.00 to W's campaign got me & the missus $600.00 earlier this year. Not a bad return on my "bribe", eh? Sheesh, your types really are funny sometimes....

There is a fundamental difference between Democrat politicians and Republican politicians - honest and integrity. While you can find exceptions to the rule on both sides, the difference is significant and instructive. Don't let your experiences and knowledge of the left lead you to the mistaken conclusion that those on the right behave in the same way. They don't, and that makes all the difference.

Yes and he is beholding to me to the toon of $200 and I plan on getting every penny out of that influence! HA HA HA HA HA HA. I feel so powerful! You are just jealous that you don't have such influence because your lousy candidate lost.

Let me guess. You voted for Gore...?

70 of 100 (that's 70%) of the Senate received funds from Enron. I guess they will all recuse themselves from this investigation?

Bush is owned and paid for by special interests. So you're saying that all the people who supported Bush should expect NO HELP WHATSOEVER if they get in financial trouble?
That's fine by me.

"Beholding" means seeing. I think the word you're groping for so inarticulately is "beholden", which means obligated. Click the back button your your browser until you're back at DU.
