Does Tom Daschele remind you.....??
Posted on 01/04/2002 8:52:22 PM PST by Leclair10
Listening to Tom today and his berade against tax cuts and how evil the 80's where it seems he's inevitabley trying to compare Bush to Reagan(which isn't bad for George), but does anyone think this guy is morphing into the next Walter Mondale? His rhetoric and views on taxes and fiscal discipline are striking to the former VP, I know alot of politicians read this board and it seems to me if he wants to compare Bush's economic plan to the 80's comparing this guy to Fritz wouldn't be a bad idea.

The Fritz thing might be a good idea. Dashole is very soft-spoken and it is disarming to many people like those in his own state who keep sending him back to Congress. In fact, his soft-spokeness is so disarming that people don't really listen to what he has to say. When they hear his voice all they hear are the sounds, "I am the government and I am here to sincerly care about you." Just pointing out what he is really saying might be enough to do the trick. Like when Clinton bites his lip.

These are the same dems who excoriated the first President Bush for raising taxes during a slow down in the economy. Now they are excoriating the present President Bush for lowering taxes during a slowdown. The media in all this......salivating at the thought of helping their commie/lib cohorts in government.

He is morphing into a characterture of a cheap politician. Maybe that is not a morph after all.

Mr. Daschel has chosen a fight he can not win in an attempt to show that he is a leader (which he is not). Even with the best issue in the world little Tommy can't be a true Presidential candidate because he is way too short and wears a bad rug.

He reminds me of a dwarfed imp from hell. Those windows of his soul tell the entire story.

He reminds me of another soft-spoken but demagogic twit, George Mitchell.
Hey, when is LeClair gonna start scoring some goals? If he and Primeau would pick it up the team would be a contender!
