I saw Daschle's "speech" last night as well as his interview with Colmes on Fox. I had to turn off the volume because "liar, Liar, LIAR" kept screaming inside my head. *chuckle* He needs to take his ladder and get off the stage. What a total disgrace. I also watched a bit of Terry McAuliffe (sp?) and I see why they want him as a spokesman. He bluffs and sputters trash...never missing a beat. (Also looks like Christopher Reeves...aka Superman)

Walter Mondale? His rhetoric and views on taxes and fiscal discipline are striking to the former VP, like Rush said Dasshole wasn't concerned with this when his wife was lobbying to get more money for the major airlines.

He's kind of soft spoken like his hero, (spoken softly) Jimmy Carter.

Even with the best issue in the world little Tommy can't be a true Presidential candidate because he is way too short and wears a bad rug.

It would be interesting to see him on an open stage (in a debate for instance) with President Bush, with no props or lifts to improve his vertically impaired stature.

He reminds me of a cadaver. I get creeped out every time I force myself to watch and listen to him.

tom daschel reminds me of Monica lewinsky for all the same reasons. The guys is an absolute zero. His claim to fame will be a stained suit coat.

. . . . . . but does anyone think this guy is morphing into the next Walter Mondale?

I think he has already morphed into Eleanor Mondale. He is being screwed by Bill Clinton (DNC) with Hillary's permission. This guy is spouting total DNC BS which will accomplish the 1 thing Hillary and Bill desire, Daschle's stated positions are so unsupportable by facts he will marginalize his candidacy for the Presdiency in 2004 before it is even announced.

Dick Armey said it best..."Daschle is the Eddie Haskell of the Democratic Party". I chuckled when I read that....SO TRUE!

The great issues are long settled. To distinguish themselves the Democrats are reduced to celebrating sodomy, safeguarding infanticide (i.e., abortion), and raising taxes.

Daschle's lemon-sucking face betrays his disappointment that socialism's time as the "next great thing" came and went like a bad odor in a sudden breeze.

Yeppers. He tells it like it is. I was surprised a few years ago when I sent him correspondence protesting some bill that was to be passed ...that he replied with a hand-written note... then had one of his aides call me to see if his reply was adequate. Too cool! I'm going to miss him, for sure.

Little Tommy Dashole has always reminded me of one of the patients on the "Bob Newhart Show", the series where Newhart played a psychologist. I don't remember the name of the patient, or the actor, but maybe someone else here on FR will.

Quote: " Ken Osmond's Haskel character as the teenage nemesis of "Leave it to Beaver" star Jerry Mathers, who he called "squirt" and tried to lead astray until Beaver's mom showed up, whereupon Haskel immediately transformed himself into the perfect gentleman."
