(I assume you meant to extend this to commercial material/links to commercial enterprises on Profile Pages as well).

Oh my god, for a minute there, I thought you were back.
Whew - this IS an old thread ....
To: Jim Robinson
Sir, I have just found a ping to this thread, so then I read your post just moments ago.
I would like to know if it is FR.com, or certain other enterprises that put pop-up ads on my puter screen when I browse around the FR.com site.
I seriously cannot tell, but it seems that FR.com is allowing the ugly phenomenon of pop up ads to be used to attempt to attract my attention. I personally believe that pop up ads, are comprised of the same insidious stuff that telemarketers use in order to disrupt my privacy, and the sanctity of my home.
I would like to think that FR is not involved with this BS, but it seems to me that here and now is a good opportunity to just ask the question. Is FR.com causing me to experience the pain in the ass of the stupid Pop-up ad aggravation?

Humor is not an advertisement.
Your post was hardly humorous.
Perhaps I should take a course in comedy, then I might know better.

Try using the right name
Sir Gawain as opposed to sirgawain. The one who posted the cooker is still an active FReeper.

Sir,
I had my chain yanked a bit in order to entice me to post to this thread. I suppose it was funny to some, but I feel stupid about the matter.
Thank you for your response, and I will try to not be so frivolous in the future when it comes to serious matters out here. I do indeed play the fool sometimes, for my own reasons, but I do not expecially care to be made a fool of.
While I am at it, I might as well thank you again for your inspired work in establishing the FR.com. Thank you.
Call me a suck up if you will, but the simple fact of the matter is, that I grew up in what is colloquially refffered to as "Kennedy Country" and that is unsettling. I have come to a place in my life, where I recognize that Liberalism, and the Democrat party as it is currrently constructed, is a most serious threat to our freedoms, and this very great Country.
I am not really a suck up, I just play one, when it suits me. Long live the FR.com.

Oh, I am so guilty.
This includes care package drive sites, DoD fundraising efforts, troops raising money for projects in Iraq, Chief Wiggles's toy drive for the Iraqi kids, Rush's air conditioning drive, QATAR clothing drive, Papa John's Pizza for the troops link, the Blue Star Mothers care package and book drives...?Will remove links from my homepage. They are all to FR threads. Many of the links were added to care package threads. Do these threads and posts need to be removed as well?
Sorry!
