A bright & cheery “Good Morning” to you all!!!
(I can say that ONLY because I am writing this at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday!!! I figured it was safer to have something “in the can”, as Chair would say, then to try to wing it at the ungodly hour of whatever hour it is right now.:)
We here in Mozie-land are slowly coming back down to earth after a hectic, fun-filled,busy, tiring, and joyous Christmas. We give thanks to our Creator for the precious gift of His Son and we pray that the peace & joy brought to us by the remembrance of His birth will continue to grow in our hearts and in all of yours.
Mr. ML & I are delighting in the antics of our offspring, all 3 of whom are home from college for winter break.
Boychild #2 is in training for the position of in-home kitchen knife salesman (temporary, college student-type work.) As he left for his interview he looked positively dapper in his (thrift shop) pin-stripe suit, “power” tie, sneakers and pony tail.
Girlchild was delighted to discover that the UWGB men’s basketball team eats all of their meals, during winter break, at the Country Kitchen where she waitresses, via a voucher system worked out with the school. So all of these tall, hunky guys are coming in & ordering LOTS of food. Eye candy and generous tips; what more could a girl ask for??
Boychild #1 is on a “health kick” and now requires bottled water, unsweetened breakfast cereal, raw vegetables, and a regime of running, weight-lifting, raquetball, etc. Someone remove this POD PERSON from our midst, QUICK!! (His former diet consisted of pizza & Dr. Pepper, and his idea of exercise was..........well, he HAD no idea of exercise....)
Well, I’ve bored you enough. I have to admit being a bit out of the loop re: current events so I will trust that those with functioning brain cells will fill us in.

Cammysmom is stuck in NY (heeheeheeeeeee) until Monday maybe. They were suppossed to fly home today (NOT) AND they are starting to get some of the snow that Buffalo has...eek. My brother took the boys out for breakfast and then to the mall ???? because he wants to get them some UT stuff to offset the Gator stuff they have here......LOLOL!!!!
Now. Don't anyone faint or anything. I talked the lady that has our puppy the other night. Her mom and dad are the ones who are bringing her back from Alabama.....the lady told me that her Mom has started calling the dog a name. Wanna know what the name is?????

What am I gonna do?????? It's the name of the town that this woman lives in ....egads....NO DOG OF MINE IS GONNA BE NAMED CHELSEA!!!! Everytime I would look at her I would think of it.....my brother and father came up with the name "Amber".

Never in my life have I seen a more frustrated man. And silly! He wanted to pull back the army in Afghanistan in favor of Letters of Marque and reprisal! LOL! I can see it now -- sturdy schooners and fast clipper ships plying the mountains of Kandahar, looking for the pirate Mullah Omar.....

Going home now to get my Vanilla Cawwfeee and see what's cooking at the house. Chaos wants to go to the *MALL* (ewwwwwwwww) today, so I have to feign some sort of illness to get out of it....ITS TOO COLD!!

I finished the painting and went on some last minute errands and delivered a couple of poinsettias for some shut-ins!
Am staying in for the rest of the day!
Utah Girl - Just finished a book, Catastrophe, about worldwide upheavals, devastating weather and the plague mid -6th century, which led to the Dark Ages.
Have to choose some books to take with me to Indiana...

I am leaving for a bit. I have two exchanges of gifts I must do, and also I need to stop and get a large collar for the dog..one that she cannot escape from.
The fence will be too expensive, unless daughter wants to skip some classes this spring. HA!
I am going to walk the fence line this afternoon and see if I can figure something out.
Wonder if I can find that book at the library???
I'm busy at work, too. The great thing is, there's hardly anyone here today. I could get used to working under these conditions!
