Sorry, Bobby, I'm not gonna do it. There are a few reasons why:
The Bible is true
or it is false. An
opinion is not going to affect that either way.
If it is true, it will have an effect on a person; their opinion does not affect its efficacy.
I am under orders to avoid arguments such as this. My opinion isn't going to sway anyone whose mind is made up.
Having said that, the Bible is the inerrant, infallible Word of God. Merry Christmas.

Excellent response. That's pretty much what I was going to say. Thanks.

But the translations were not perfect. There are many factual differences b/w versions/translations of the bible through time. So if you take EVERYTHING literaly... which version is more LITERAL that another.... Perhaps you just mean that the ideas are literal truth but not necessarily every nuance and word?

The Bible is true or it is false. An opinion is not going to affect that either way. Sorry. False dichotomy. A literary work can be both true and false at the same time; for example works of historical fiction often incorporate actual persons and events to further the story line. Your saying the Bible can only be true or false indicates you have not thought through the possibility that much of the Bible could be a work of historical fiction.
