But the translations were not perfect. There are many factual differences b/w versions/translations of the bible through time. So if you take EVERYTHING literaly... which version is more LITERAL that another.... Perhaps you just mean that the ideas are literal truth but not necessarily every nuance and word?

I believe that it is 100% accurate and literal that many of those who proclaim that the bible is 100% accurate and literal... feel that way because it makes them feel holier... regardless of the truth. I also believe that there is a direct correlation to an individual's education and intelligence and their view that the bible is 100% accurate and literal or not. Have fun!... attack at will!
