ATTENTION TRAVELLERS: At Sea-Tac Airport in Seattle (and probably other airports across the country), every fifth passenger must remove his or her shoes for inspection at all entry checkpoints. This is really gonna speed things up for air travellers. Ah, yes, but we will all be safe now, right? More Christmas fun and government folly! Ho, ho, ho!

First people whine about airports not taking measures to increase security.
Then when they do, people whine more.
Some people you just an't please.

I wonder what they are going to do if a woman puts explosives up her vagina or a man puts some explosives up his anus?

I'm wondering what new security measures will take effect if the next terrorist is caught with C4 in his "underwear". :-)

 I consider it "harrassment"
A "security" measure would consist of searching all the men of Middle Eastern descent. Not inconviencing granny.

I wonder what they are going to do if a woman puts explosives up her vagina... They'll call in the FBI (Female Body Inspector)

They should just make everyone fly nude.

Why pay $500 to be treated like an inmate? Even before this latest delay, driving was faster - when you consider all ground time (driving to and from airport, security hassles, baggage check/retrieval, renting car).
Best of all, even a Honda Civic lets you split the "fare" four ways. Try doing that with Delta!

It's becoming a joke but publically, no one will speak out against it, it's too "sensitive of an issue" RS

An obious Middle Eastern nutjob with a false passport, scraggly beard and terminal BO smuggles a shoe bomb on board a jetliner and the response is to check the shoes of American-born WASPS. Makes sense to me. </sarcasm>
