What should be done to the Marin County man who abandoned America to fight with our enemies? I say he should be tried for treason, nothing less.

ON the face of it it seems like yours is a natural conclusion but sadly Americans are soft and years and years of liberal laws will ensure he will be marked as mentally unfit to stand trial. That is my theory and I dont agree but sadly this America we are (not us freepers )has alot of work to do to get over the last 30 years and sadly 9-11 may not have been enough.

little johnny jihad should be handed over to the northern alliance since in actually he is their pow....don't care what happens to him after that..but as i said on an earlier thread..no prison in the U.S. will be safe for him and if he beats the rap..too many hrs of video of him helping the enemy (U.S.) and if there are sleeper cells here, he will die a very grusome death...either way he is a dead man!!!

How about dragging him through the court sysem for about twenty years, so he'll have enough time to write a book and make a movie deal with the hollywood elite. Meanwhile sucking the taxpayers dry and making a mockery of our court system,not to mention, setting a positive example for anyone else with any bright ideas...........You really don't want me to say what I really think!!!!!!!!

He should have been treated as an Afghan citizen and treated as any other POW and left in Afghanistan. That's the worst punishment I can think of.

I would only add there should be a public ceremony where his citizenship is revoked..
