1.I hope Time magazine puts Osama Bin Laben as their "Man of the Year".

2.I hope millions of subscribers cancel their subscriptions.

3.I hope Time Magazine is run out of business.

4.I hope Steve Forbes buys it for pennies on the dollar.

Challenge ahead: Bush has mastered the art of war. Now he must master the art of growth. He must publicly and aggressively put Tom Daschle and the Democrats on notice: Pass a bold, sweeping, pro-growth tax cut (including sharp, across-the-board, marginal tax rate cuts; accelerated expensing; and a cut in the capital gains tax rate), or be personally responsible for putting millions of Americans out of work. Expanded unemployment benefits are nice. But people need jobs, not handouts. Vaclav Havel once said: "The real test of a man is not when he plays the role that he wants for himself, but when he plays the role destiny has for him." George W. Bush is passing with flying colors.

All joking aside (from my previous sarcasm post about ObL getting MOTY), I think President Bush has risen to the occasion many times in his 11 months in office. He has pushed through most of the things that he campaigned on, he worked through a difficult and trying engagement with the Chinese Communists in April over the Reconnaisance plane incident. (Note: He has even managed to put up with hitler clintoon's caustic facials during his speeches and to NOT slap her or Tom Daschle in their political shenanigans). And now he has shown superb leadership in the War in Afghanistan. Basically, our Military accomplished in 2 MONTHS, that which the Soviet Union FAILED to do in ten years.

Hands down: BUSH for Man of The YEAR! !

Thanks, Jean, for posting this and to you Sabertooth for the ping!

He?s also repeatedly praised Putin?s move last year to scrap Moscow?s corruptingly complex tax code in favor of a 13% flat tax. No wonder Russia?s economy is finally beginning to grow at a healthy clip.

Now if only he could get the communists in Congress to do the same....

It's my birthday today and I don't want or need anything. My present came early this year as I watched "W" raise his right hand and become OUR PRESIDENT...I cried with joy for that blessing. Little did I know just what a BIG present I was actually getting. God Bless my Man of the Year and may he continue to do what's right for the country. Steve should run against Mr. Rolex of NJ and would be a good, moral, R Senator!

Had to stop here...

2. He chose a superb Vice President. Dick Cheney was born for this moment. Three decades of experience. Cool under fire. Great on TV. No future political ambitions. But only Bush seemed to get that—instinctively—18 months ago. Thank God.

Could you imagine Joe Lieberman the whinning jewish princess standing down the taliban---they would have their own channel on cable---sleepovers in the white house...taliban study--dress up days at school---prayer rugs in the senate!

3. He chose a first-rate national security team.

No kiddin'. Does anyone think Bill Clinton would have appointed sharp people that would out shine him? I think not. Incompetancy begets worse incompetancy. If Clinton had someone the caliber of Cheney and Rumsfield, they would have slaped him around the cabenet. The hot people Clinton picked was his own lawyers.
