Though many around here won't give him an inch of credit, I certainly agree with the author.
Note to Steve: You really should be running for office yourself - just not the presidency.

Terrific post. Thank You. Forbes is a lousy personal communicator, but uses a lot of common sense on substantive issues. Thanks again.

Compare this with anything Hillary, Al Gore, or John McCain have said since the election.

Well said Mr. Forbes.
Thank God we have George Bush as President in times such as these.
He is MY man of the year too. :)

Hes also repeatedly praised Putins move last year to scrap Moscows corruptingly complex tax code in favor of a 13% flat tax.
I hate to say it, but we really need to be more like Russia on this one. I'll take a 13% flat tax any day!

W. is a no-brainer for Man of The Year. Just goes to show that those who are considering "someone else" have no brains.

6. He has restored honor and dignity to the White House. The man wears a suit and tie in the Oval Office. Always. Enough said. And unlike Slick Willie, he uses the Oval Office sink to wash his hands instead of to ****off in...

The world sleeps better knowing Don Rumsfeld, Condi Rice and Colin Powell are on the job. Indeed! Thank you, Lord!
Now he must master the art of growth . . .
I have no doubt that at just the right minute daschle and the rest of the demonrats will be be delivered the equivalent of a daisy cutter if they don't get back in line.
The President and the rest of the team know exactly when to drop the bomb for maximum effect. I think I hear the engines warming up.

Madeleine Albright, Warren Christopher and Sandy Berger were the keepers of the counter-productive Clinton Doctrine: Do nothing of consequence, but have lots of photo-ops.
