Johnny Bin Walker, At Least, Put His Money Where His Mouth Is
ME | ME

Posted on 12/07/2001 10:19:57 AM PST by Texaggie79

Reading all these articles and hearing all these pundits talk about Johnny Bin Walker as being treasonous and being the lowest thing on earth has made me wonder.

First, how can it be treason when he is no longer a citizen. Second, although I think the guy should be killed, he gets more respect from me for having the guts to go over their and live up to his anti-American sentiments, than do these cowardly America haters over here that still enjoy the benefits of being an American citizen.

How many times have we told these creeps that if they were serious they would go over and take up arms with the Taliban. Well, that is exactly what Johnny did.

I saw a recent thread comparing Johnny to Benedict Arnold. I don't see a similarity. Benidict was just looking out for his own @$$ and did so in a deceitful way. Johnny came right out and went to Afghanistan and openly fought with the side he felt was right.

You got guts Johnny, and you did stand up for your beliefs, so I respect ya. But then, I would be glad to be the one to put the bullet into your head, because you are on the wrong side.

Not quite accurate. He went to that area before 9-ll, just to assimilate islam. It appears as though he then kind of drifted into the Taliban, again before 9-11. He is young, misguided, weird and not worth all the attention he is getting

Actually he is our most important link to what the taliban was like on the inside, and he may have real future value for us working in the CIA after he gets his head corrected. After all, if Bin Laden was a CIA guy, why couldn't this kid be one?

He will make a mint on the college lecture circuits, guaranteed. Hey, it's not like he sold out his country like Clinton did.

I'm a principles kinda guy. Osama is the most cowardice of them all because all he does is tell others to go die, the ones that do have more guts (hopefully splayed out all over the desert).

Something new?

Yeah, because all I do is talk about Libertarians. Sure, right, uh huh, yeah, whatever. I'm talking about a more powerful force in America, LIBERALS! Which I think a few Libertarians such as Harry Browne and Lewser Rockwell are joining.

Walker should be dressed in a pig suit and tied up deep in a Florida Swamp. The gators will do the rest, y'hear?

He still is an American citizen.

You got guts Johnny, and you did stand up for your beliefs, so I respect ya.

The same could be said of Hitler.

True, that speaks volumes of the anti-America cowards.

He still is an American citizen.

Last time I read the federal rule, one who takes up arms with a regime opposing the US, officially renounces his citizenship.

He was being interviewed by the CIA agent when the Taliban came into the room in the prison. Do you think the taliban, in taking the prison, kept their fellow taliban tied up?

Major agreement here. I'll have to pass on the rest of your post though.

While having the courage of one's convictions may be an admirable trait, I think it's offset by the cowardliness of openly supporting the deliberate murder of 4000 innocents in the WTC. You admire the guy - I think he's scum.

I don't admire him, I simply respect his guts to stand up for what he believes, however what he believes is absolute $#!# and he should die for fighting against us. I have less respect for those that sit and say that America got what we deserved and still go about their lives as blessed Americans.

From the news accounts I have read, it is very likely that Walker was still tied up when the attack took place. It may be possible that Walker was somehow involved but that is not what current information reveals. The surviving CIA agent "Dave" knew who Walker was and he saw the attack. He has not linked Walker to the attack.

He was tied during the interview. Right. But after the Taliban came in? Think they left him tied? Wasn't he caught FIGHTING?

I don't think the post infers admiration: more (to me) that the rest of the Anti-American people in America should take a hint and get the you-know-what OUT!!!

But then they can't enjoy the freedom that comes with our Republic, can they? They want their cake and eat it, too.

Yeah, I get the drift, but to me it's still a quibble over the relative size of the turds in the bowl...

He took up arms against this country. He praised the USS Cole bombing.

Pray tell---what more do we need to know?

Think they left him tied?

Obviously he became untied at some point - probably during the upheaval after the attack that killed the CIA agent.

Wasn't he caught FIGHTING?

No, he was caught like a wet rat after being flushed out of the prision which had been flooded with water. This was after bombing and rocket attacks and plenty of ground fighting where all the taliban who resisted were killed.
