Indonesia is the world's most populous Muslim nation. Nearly 85 percent of its 203 million people are Muslim. The rest are Christian, Hindu or Buddhist.

The whole world has but after the wake-call of Sept 11 the blinders have come off of many people I think. We are seeing the "peaceful" followers of Mohammed as the Israelis have seen them for years; mad-dog killers.

It is a religious war, and unfortunately, it's not a new one. It's been ongoing in Indonesia for a few years that I know of for certain. Two families we know have fled Indonesia, one is now in Canada and the other is in Australia. At one point a couple of years ago, the daughter of one was beaten and raped in one of the riots. Some people were pulled out of their houses and beaten to death, their houses looted and nearly destroyed. Their crime was being Christian.
