AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 317) [Remember the Trade Center!!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | December 3, 2001 | All of Us

Posted on 12/03/2001 3:12:32 AM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

WE THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA...

...ARE GOING TO KICK YOUR A$$!!!

So states a sign at the entrace to Camp Justice, the Marine base located approximately 100 miles outside of Kandahar, the last remaining stronghold of the Talibums in Afgoneistan.

We will not tire, we will not falter, we will not fail![President Bush]

Well, the lighting of the Christmas, er - Holiday, tree took place yesterday in Kensington. Despite the wishes of the city council, hundreds of Santa Clauses showed up, and one did, in fact, ride in on a fire truck - as had been done in years past. No comment was forthcoming from the chair of the council.

Secretary Rumsfeld has a message for the remaining defenders of the Talibums in Afgoneistan. It is very simple; sufficiently so that I think they should understand: Surrender, or die. There are reports the remaining enemy elements in Kandahar are considering defying the Mullah and are contemplating surrender.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

I thought it was going to be another typical 'Aints game when the 50-yard touchdown pass was foiled by the back judge around the 5-yard line!! (For those who didn't see it, a perfect pass-play was broken up when the receiver collided with a referee who didn't think to get out of the way). Glad they came back to win it!

I don't know if you saw it, but that same idiot was in the way again when Carolina scored their first touchdown. The replays showed the defensive back for the Saints being effectively blocked out of the play by the moron, allowing the Panther tailback to score untouched.

Not taken as a lecuture sweets.....I have a desire to edumicate myself on this issue.

Bit - agreed on your rant on the PA/PLO.

But I view it as part of a bigger context. Note the violence - which was there previously, I'll concede - ratcheted up significantly beginning on October 7. Arafat still has as his goal the destruction of Israel and the establishment of a Palestinian State roughly equating to the borders of the former British mandate.

Someone else (Saddam? The Evil One?) has been having conversations - quite probably through intermediaries - during our assault on Afgoneistan with Arafat. I don't buy that the increase in violence in that area was a coincidence.

Viewing things in the larger perspective, the proper response becomes extremely tricky. We are trying very hard to both get Israel to allow itself, essentially, to be a punching bag and not respond, while not responding with force ourselves either.

The proximate reason is obvious - we do not want to force a split in the Arab countries that are currently backing our effort. The converse - the execution of such a split - is in our enemy's best interest, of course. Which is precisely why I don't believe all of this is a coinkydink.

But to scope it out into an even larger context - why do we need to worry about Arab alliances at all?

Well - we're back to the last Administration. UOx42. Once again. All things bad today seem to go back, somehow, someway, to that son of a b.

Due to the atrophy he allowed in our military capability, we are not in a position to deal with more than a limited conflagration in that region of the world, while still meeting strategic demands elsewhere - in particular, Korea. Moreover, because of our current situation - something the Administration is trying to fix, but will take time (time they are trying to buy with this strategy) - we need to call on the help of others; if not to assist at least to stay out of the way.

The violence in the West Bank and Gaza is a direct challenge to our approach and strategy in the mid-east. Unfortunately, the time to fish or cut bait is very near at hand.

</rant>

Yeah, exactly the way the newbie middies feel when we pass their racing-boat J-40 with our pig-boat 35-footer, that's how!!

(I LOVE to watch the instructors yell at the newbies, half of whom are seasick on dead calm water, while they're flailing away not knowing what to do: 'Are you gonna let some bloated PLEASURE YACHT pass this fine piece of racing machinery????' HAHAHA!!)

AND A GOOD A.M. TO ONE AND ALL OUT IN FREEPER LAND, USA FROM THE MISSISSIPPI GULFCOAST, USA! Can you believe the two total nuts bombing the kids in Isreal? Plain out ole simple murder, not a political statement, murder. I am like everyone else, wondering what the 'payback' will be and I hope they make it soon. How can a human being, a breathing, thinking, human being do this type of thing. I saw the approval poll on 'W', awesome. HOmefront, We can see now the desperation the demoflops are having and are trying just anything and everything to discredit him. Dumb arsses, just dumb arsses, and it sad to know that they still place party over the good for this nation. Their hatred towards the republicans equals that of bin Ladens hatred of the United States. Lay-hee, deserves the whinners award for the year but Dashi-it could possibly tie with him. Let us pray for out love ones, in fact, when you wake every A.M. turn to you spouse and thank God that he or she is still with you and you wiht him or her. Pray that God will guide you through your day and keep you family safe and sound. Remember the elderly who will have only the memories of the past in their heats for this Christmas and, for our President 'W', a man who has America first instead of poll ratings. Pray for the troops in harms way and thier families who kids will spend this Christmas without dad or mom. Bless the USA!

and, for our President 'W', a man who has America first instead of poll ratings.

I believe the man's poll numbers are high precisely because he doesn't worry about them but rather getting the job done.

Well, Arafat's last Intifatah was '87. The violence ratcheted up this time at exactly the time when Barak caved to Arafat during the 'Legacy' talks. If he had gone for the deal, he knows he would have been assassinated upon his return to the Middle East.

They do not view negotiations as a means to sue for peace; they view it as a means of incremental victory. Inch by inch, foot by foot, until they get it all.

BTW, also in re 'Palestinian', just as the Taliban is not Afghani, so Arafat is not 'Palestinian'. He was born in Egypt.

Arafat was resurrected by the doves of Israel, thinking that if they just give him what he wants, he would just drop the violence and play nice.

But the 800-pound gorilla in the room that nobody wants to talk about is the fact that the PLO, which is very much alive in the PA, is dedicated to the destruction of no just Israel but all Jews. They haven't renounced that, they don't intend to, and until they get a leader who is not a terrorist thug the Palestinians will never have a shot at real peace.

What's different now is that the game has escalated, while Arafat is playing as if UOx42 is still in office winking at the antics. It is very dangerous now; Arafat goes over the line a few more times (or even once more) and it will mean total conflict.

(Also, I am very surprised that China has not taken advantage of our distraction, vis-a-vis Taiwan...)

Again, agreed on your assessment of the PA/PLO and the region - I was commenting on timing. Arafat's incremental approach would have allowed for him to start his action at any point on the calendar - but it occurred in concert with our assault on Afgoneistan. I don't buy into the coincidence theory with these players.

RE: China. I don't think our distractions have gone unnoticed to Beijing. They simply don't have the lift capability to deposit a significant force in Taiwan without getting chewed to shreads. But they are working that problem, I am sure.

Donning my tin-foil ensemble, complete with aluminum handbag and shoes, I wish to point out that besides the large number of Islamic immigrants over the last 8 years, there have been a huge number of immigrants from mainland China.

What if some of these are working with al Qaeda, with the knowledge of Beijing?

Too much Tom Clancy and coffee, probably. Your comments just got me to thinking....

I hope he saw the Light before the end.

From where 'is ashes are going, it would appear not.......

Matthew 12:30
"He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters.

Mark 16:16
Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

John 3
 17.  For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
 18.  Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.

John 5:24
"I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.

John 12
 47.  "As for the person who hears my words but does not keep them, I do not judge him. For I did not come to judge the world, but to save it.
 48.  There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; that very word which I spoke will condemn him at the last day.

Romans 8:1
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,

1 Corinthians 11:32
When we are judged by the Lord, we are being disciplined so that we will not be condemned with the world.

2 Thessalonians 2
 11.  For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie
 12.  and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

2 Peter 2
 1.  But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them--bringing swift destruction on themselves.
 2.  Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute.
 3.  In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.

1 John 3:23
And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us.
