This is a great article...the author has alot figured out that escapes what he so aptly calls 'the armchair generals'.
In Britian and in the States, most of them have made colossal asses of themselves in the last few weeks.
It is a joy to behold!!

so many armchair generals been exposed as such idiots in such a short period of time
Also made the talk show hosts appear pretty idiotic too, as they nodded in agreement with the armchair generals.
Quag-what?

Bush Is Dumb, Right??? He must be. CNN said so. And Al Gore is a super genius intellectual (that failed out of divinity school and never got a degree beyond a bachelor's).

They've got Bill Clinton, a RAPIST. We've got George W. Bush, a REAL MAN with scruples and a brain. For victory & freedom!!!

I guess all those dumb comedy shows that depict GWB as a moron will have to change strategy, right? For victory & freedom!!!

I hope some of the little anti-Bush twits that my daughter goes to school with in London will read this. Nah, probably not.

Good article. Now, if they can kill Bin Laden within the next two weeks, it would be a slam-dunk! GW would go down in history as Great Leader.

A fourth cliche is that Bush got essentially everything he has (including the Oval Office) the old fashioned way, by getting it from his father. Bush himself corrected this misconception on Oprah. The biggest misconception about him was that if his father "had been George Jones, [George W.] would have been a country singer."
George W. actually is his own man and owes nothing of his success to his father. He is truly the best his party has to offer.

Such misconceptions about George Bush reflect the stupidity of the left-liberal chatterati and their followers, nothing more.
The rest of us knew that he was a great man all along--that's why we elected him to the presidency--and we are impressed but not surprised.
Anyone who gives serious attention to the opinions of the left-liberal chatterati is stupid. These people and their opinions are manifestations of stupidity, ignorance, and decadence.
As much as they grudgingly admire and respect Americans, Europeans are baffled by America's greatness. They cannot conprehend the source of the American genius. The secret lies in the American Heartland, and George W. Bush is its quintessence. Liberalism is its antithesis.

Now I have something else to be thankful for!
This article finally gives President Bush the credit he deserves for his leadership abilities.
I appreciate the post, it was a pleasure to read.

Dubya was blessed with a lot of common sense . . . just like Reagan!
Intellectuals like Carter had no common sense.
