When we had C-Band I would turn to his station just to pester my wife. That guy never gives up I guess. When you said doctor and C-Band satellite it wasn't hard to figure out. Gene Scott is one part of C-band I don't miss the other is sweeping out the snow three or four times a night.

C-Band did give me N.E.T. though. The C-Band reciever went out and Dishnet carried it so that made it an easy choice.

Im always amused by the cheesy video roll-ins he uses while flashing the ph# - I mean its easy to see they dont even bother using a tripod to stabilize the picture. No fancy graphics or titles - They probably havent spent a dime on video equipment since Ronald Regan was POTUS. But he still needs more $$$$ so GET ON THE PHONE!!!

Is he still on the air somewhere???? I'm stunned. Satellite only, maybe? I wanna see that monkey band again, too. Reminds me of the 80s.

Didn't he buy a big old L.A. auditorium to turn into a church? That's about the last time I remember seeing his pitches on the tube. Channel 38 out of San Jose, CA as I recall.
