The most interesting aspect to emerge from the media's Florida presidential election recount efforts may be this: Republicans - black Republicans, to be specific - suffered the highest rate of ballot spoilage by far.
"At first glance, the numbers confirm the disturbing claims, repeated often this year, that African-American ballots were 'spoiled' - that is, not counted because they showed either no vote for president or multiple votes - at higher rates than the ballots of other groups," wrote John R. Lott Jr. and James K. Glassman in Monday's Los Angeles Times.
"But if spoiled ballots do indicate disenfranchisement, then the new data show that, by a dramatic margin, the group most victimized in the Florida voting was African-American Republicans," the duo contended.
"The new findings show that African-American Republicans who voted in Florida were in excess of 50 times more likely than the average African-American to have had a ballot declared invalid because it was spoiled."
Another heretofore overlooked detail uncovered by Lott and Glassman: Among white voters, Republicans were much more likely than Democrats to have spoiled ballots.
"We found that the overall rate of spoiled ballots was 14 percent higher when the county election supervisor was a Democrat and 31 percent higher when the supervisor was an African-American Democrat."
The new numbers suggest that there may have been a concerted attempt to suppress the votes of more than 20,000 of the Sunshine state's black Republicans, Lott and Glassman said.
How do you think they felt about black felon votes?
The fact remains that minorities from the conservative party were subjected to just the opposite of all the values the liberals are forever telling America how to live. Why isn't that important?
Late on election night the call goes out: "We're behind, but close! Do the Chicago trick!"
Between certain minority precincts and counting centers, stacks of cards are "spiked", that is a nail is run down the Gore hole. This does not alter a Gore vote, but makes a Bush vote an "invalid double punch".
Statistical analysis by numerous experts bears this out.
Thanks for letting us know. I should have realized the duplicate discussion of "Black Republicans Suffered Worst...". Everyone who posts here please be aware that C3 has an existing thread and desires your attention. I offer my full and immediate cooperation.
Sorry.
This is very telling... these were NOT undervote ballots... those would have still been valid ballots, just with no vote for President. A spoiled presidential ballot would have to have a punch on two or more candidates!
These ballots from Republicans (regardless of race) were subject to "spoilage" at a rate up to 50 times more than Democrat Ballots. How can this be????
Simple. The ballots were either pre or post election punched for Albert Gore Jr. This would have the effect of invalidating votes for Bush or other candidates while leaving Gore ballots intact!
This is prima facie proof of election fraud by the officials at those polling stations!
