Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton charged yesterday that the $1.35 trillion Bush tax cut "undermined our fiscal responsibility and our ability to deal with this new threat of terrorism."

"If we hadn't passed the big tax cut last spring we wouldn't be in the fix we're in today. But the fact is, we are," Mrs. Clinton said during an interview on a CNN special, "America's New War."

RE Lazio: I was assured by many New Yorkers on this site that Lazio would do fine against Hiltary and that she would NEVER win in New York. Now New Yorkers are asking why they couldn't have had a better candidate. Not to be too down on New Yorkers, but you guys just have too many libs. The bottom line is, a freakin' slug should have been able to beat Hitlary. Conservative New Yorkers must now realize they live in the enemy's camp, not vice versa.

I moved to S. Dakota 3 years ago, and have not had a single person be able to explain to me why we have Two RAT senators. (Actually, calling Tim Johnson a whole senator is probably being generous- more like a puppet that echoes what the "Daschole" instructs him to say.) The nearest I can tell is that they manage to pass bills like this one that brings home some money for farmers to clean their chicken-coops. This is still a huge agricultural area, so that money hits home here. I have recently seen a report that because of farm subsidies and indian reservations, SD takes in more federal money than we pay out in taxes. Rest assured that some of us here in SD are trying to educate everyone else on the general idiocy that spews from the mouths of these two idiots. I did manage to help persuade almost all of the administration at the university that I work at to vote for Bush. It is a beautiful thing to walk through the administrative offices and hear Rush on several radios! (Now I need to work on the Profs.)
