"If we hadn't passed the big tax cut last spring we wouldn't be in the fix we're in today. But the fact is, we are," Mrs. Clinton said during an interview on a CNN special, "America's New War."

Funny. In an article to be published this week in Talk Magazine, daughter Chelsea reports that her very first thought upon hearing about the terrorist attack was that the $1.35 trillion Bush tax cut undermined our fiscal responsibility and our ability to deal with this new threat of terrorism. Isn't it simply amazing how the thoughts of everyone in the Clinton family are completely in sync?

If one were cynical, one might believe that "Chelsea's" article was actually penned by a political hack working in Hillary's campaign office.

Her administration did nothing about the terrorist attacks against Khobar Towers, our overseas embassies, and the U.S.S. Cole.

I am not a very good chess player, but as I understand it, one should only take another's piece from a position of strength and not open oneself up to attack for the sake of just one piece.
