Civil Rights Leader Slams Clinton's 9/11-Slavery Link
Though the elite media remain largely silent on ex-President Clinton's outrageous comments this week linking the 9/11 terrorist attacks to pre-Civil War slavery, at least one civil rights leader says he was disgusted by the episode.
"It's a shame that a former president would attempt to use the plight of black Americans for his own publicity," said the Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson on Friday.
"His desire for power and publicity outweighs any concern for what is right," he added.
Peterson heads up the Brotherhood Organization for a New Destiny (BOND).
In a speech at Georgetown University Wednesday night, Clinton began a rambling dissertation on terrorism and argued the U.S. is "paying a price today" for sins of the past.
"Here in the United States, we were founded as a nation that practiced slavery, and slaves quite frequently were killed even though they were innocent," Clinton observed.
But Peterson said it isn't the institution of slavery, but instead the Clinton administration, that deserves blame for the 9/11 attacks.
"It is clear that Bill Clinton not only failed in the war against terrorism, it can certainly be argued that his administration aided and abetted them," the civil rights leader contended in a column for The Washington Dispatch.
"Bill and Hillary Clinton's statements and actions prior to September 11 are public record, and should be carefully examined," Peterson added. "Whatever they have said and done since the tragedy that does not match up with their pre-September 11 words and deeds should be regarded as spin at best."

Mercuria: I was going to say "YEAH! add me to your BOND list, when duh I went back a page and seen I'm already on it!" New Destiny:
I watched a portion of WJBCX42's Georgetown speech. The man (sic) was incoherent. Whoever wrote/co-wrote the speech for him could not/did not "justify" the issues raised with even the thinnest thread of logic. It was a smattering of lofty ideas and obtuse ramblings whose only common demoninator was the presenter.
This is a rapid departure from the bubba clintoon we knew as president. As twisted or as perverted as his ideas were, he once could sell them to the masses because he packaged them like a Christmas present -- all neat and tidy with a red ribbon to boot.
The good Reverend is correct in slamming Clinton; however, he should take solace that should WJBCX42 continue on his present downward spiral he will become as irrelevant as Sky Lab hardhats.

Is this "Son of the Unibomber?"
To: chris1
Unless, of course, he said the "N" word. KKKlintoon and his husband, Hitlery, *DID* say the "N" word -- apparently, no one cares...

Everyone living today is damn lucky to be alive. Not one person has an ancestor who didn't suffer some horror or another. Americans have been indoctrinated with lies about the exclusive victimization of people of color and as a result, America is a mental case. Rev. Peterson is one of the mentally sound, thank heaven.

The speech was part of a calculated effort now unfolding by the criminal enterprise democrat party to undermine this administration and create division in the land, in preparation for the upcoming 2002 elections. The democrat party will seel or sacrifice anything, ANYTHING, to regain toatal p[ower. They are more dangerous than the Taliban or al Qaida, because they want power so badly they will gladly allow our enemies to succeed more in order to bring about chaos that serves their purposes. The 9/11 attacks worked to unite the people; the democrats work tirelessly to divide the people. We can only hope that sinkEmperor gives himself an overdose and exits the planet.

I love Peterson. Thanks for the flag Mercuria.

The Clintoon Camp is planning to buy reparations with minority support. This ought to finally bankrupt those B******ds.

We can only hope that sinkEmperor gives himself an overdose and exits the planet. Wishful thinking. That would take someone with scruples/integrity to actually admit to himself that terrible mistakes were made.
On the contrary, the traitor-in-chief is proud of itself for its rampant criminal and treacherous behaviour. Its husband, Hitlery!, is likewise deluded...

Peterson is exactly right. Just as Clinton bombed an aspirin factory to deflect attention from his misconduct in office, so now Clinton is standing on the backs of blacks to deflect attention from his failure to deal with terrorism while in office. .

B.O.N.D. BUMP!!!
Thank you!
To: Mercuria
Thanks for the bump as always, Mercuria. You seem to have my back, and for that I am grateful.
But you know, I have a hard time with people labeling Rev. Peterson as a civil rights leader. The man is phenomenal. He is a man who speaks truth to power. Now, this will be a shock, but I loathe the term civil rights leader since it is a leftist term (IMHO). Yet I just used a leftist term to describe him.
Go figure.
He is not to be likened to a Jack$on, Sharpton, or Mfume. Let them have the leader mantra. He stands alone, and I can fully empathize with him on that.

Clinton forgot to mention all the men, women, children, and infants of all colors that his administration exterminated during the 8 LONG years of that dirtbag's rule. Unlike a mad dog foaming at the mouth, unfortunately we can't simply put him out of his misery, or ours.

Great point about Rev. Peterson. I don't like to hear him spoken of as a civil rights leader. It puts him in a category that he really isn't in. He's just a good man, speaking the truth. He's not even 'just a good man'. He's a man of God, a rarity in these times. He just loves God! And the truth! And it shows!!
