I remember when Clinton use to talk about how he felt as he watched Martin Luther King's speech at the Lincoln Memorial on TV; how wonderful it made him feel, how it helped him understand what blacks were feeling.

Of course, it didn't bother him at all that the speech was NOT telecast. Ever.

And so, according to Bill Clinton, Americans, Americans of European Christian ancestry that is, are terrorists, no better and no different than those that are knee deep in the blood of those killed on September 11.

Yes. It's his answer to "they all do it." Just like impeachment.

Thank you for the summary. We should NEVER forget the culpability of WJC. And I STILL think he looked and sounded stoned during that speech. He is insufferable. My husband, who has some knowledge in the field, believes that Billy Jeff is likely a megalomaniac.

I tried to watch the video, like Freedom'sWorthIt, but I, too, couldn't stand it. But the parts I saw on TV were really bizarre.....too many pauses.....like he was thinking of something else.

Arthur, after reading that speech, I think he's LOOKING for a job, to rule the world, like maybe Sec Gen. I understood that the Sec Gen could not come from a member country who has a veto.......have you ever heard that? (The present term is up 12-31-01).

Also this transcript evidently was handed out before the speech was given. It would be interesting to compare what he actually said to this transcript. It sure doesn't point out all the words he slurred in the speech.

I tried to read along with the video through the first ten or so paragraphs. He seemed to stay with the script, except for a few words he added here and there.

However, I think the way it was written is not very clear....run-on sentences and totally disassociated thoughts!

His speech pattern was totally bizarre, as was the way he kept looking off over their heads, not really connecting.
