Senator Hillary Clinton ('Rat-NY) held a sparsely attended political fundraiser at her Washington, D.C. Embassy Row mansion this evening. The dozen-or-so anti-Hillary protesters who gathered at the entrance to her street almost out-numbered those who came to pay homage to the former first lady and her political agenda.
One of the protesters walked up the road at 6:45 p.m. and observed the affair from across the street. What she saw shocked her; there was hardly anyone at Hillary's fundraiser. Around one hundred name tags were laid out on a table on the driveway in front of the house under a party tent. But only a few people could be seen milling about--and most of them were staff and waiters. In fifteen minutes, only one guest was seen arriving.
No media was seen there. The lackluster scene was in stark contrast to the expectation earlier this year that Hillary would take the place of the late Pamela Harriman as the Democrats' salon hostess-with the-mostest in D.C. after she held her wildly successful first fundraiser in April for freshman Senator Maria Cantwell ('Rat-Wa).
Things have gone south so fast for Hillary that one staffer was heard to say tonight, "This always happens. We send out alot of invitations, and just a few (people) show up."
An hour later, when the affair was in full swing, a second recon was done. A couple dozen name tags were gone from the table, but a steady stream of people were seen leaving Hillary's mansion in the ten minutes the recon team was there.
When the door opened for the guests to leave, the recon team observed that there were no party sounds emanating from Hillary's mansion. In fact, it appeared that the guests were not bade farewell by anyone at the door when they left.
Another thing the recon team noticed was that the fundraising staff had instructed the partygoers to park their cars inside the Danish Embassy's property directly across the street, which they did.
I'm not sure, but it seems that a foriegn government was providing an in-kind contribution to Hillary's fundraiser.
The party ended around 8:30 p.m. The departing guests who saw the anti-Hillary protesters as they drove away gave mixed reactions to them. Some called out their support for Hillary, while others swore at the protesters.
One woman, an elegant, fiftyish looking blonde beauty, leaned over to the protesters as she was chauffered past them and angrily jabbed her middle finger at them from behind the rear seat window of her sedan. It was sad to see such a lack of class from one of Hillary's upper class political sorority sisters, but not surprising.
President Bush gave a televised speech to the nation while the fundraiser was going on. Perhaps that contributed to the sour mood of some of Hillary's guests. One can only surmise how Her Heinous reacted to the speech; but judging from her disrespectful demeanor during his speech to a joint session of Congress last month, she was probably saying things like, "Yeah, George, let's roll--right over the rights of women, minorities and children."

Be nice. Fortunately for me, my wife rocks!
She'll probably launder a maximum contribution from each one of the unused nametags . . .
Great Job D.C. FReepers !!
(Wish I could have been there with my camcorder tucked under my arm when the 'rat made the bird! )
Ah shucks, you shouldn't have (blushing).
No really, you shouldn't have (now my wife will pull out the stops to get that second Rolex)!
Just kidding (she's actually mondo cool about guys being guys).
Bingo!! That is just what we thought, that or a cold, what about his nose? Red, red, red.
Hillary still has copies of the FBI files and will continue to use them; how else did this woman gain so much power. Soooooo glad her fundraiser was a flop, lets hope she is soon history.
The true queen of DC trumps Hillary! Yes!

Give him credit for being able to stand up and deliver such a long speech in the condition he was in. What we saw was from the first ten minutes or so. He must have made no sense at all by the end.
I wonder what Hitlery thinks about x42's seditious and possibly drunk speech from a few days ago. Any possibility it helped dampen the party?
I live under a rock - where / when ?
